Edit: Oops misread, we're just talking about the top game? Then the answer is no so ignore this post.
Using the EU release dates of remakes on systems that I own so YMMV.
New: Spelunky
The challenge, working out how things fit together and perhaps most importantly the the perfectly pitched difficulty curve when it comes to goals. It starts with just getting to the next set of levels being a massive achievement and is followed by unlocking shortcuts, finishing normally, beating it properly and then finally Speedlunky making you re-learn how you play the game. Helped by being a perfect fit on the Vita and the daily challenge.
Persona 4 Golden
Predominately for the most likeable set of characters I've encountered in a game although the rest of it (especially fusing) is pretty good.
Old: Can't really say as my top games used to rotate depending on my mood during any given day but I think my top six are cemented for the time being.
I guess if I had to name titles then Vice City, MGS3, SotC, FF7 and Pokemon Blue have all dropped out of contention for my top 5.
