Did you know Splatterhouse (remake/2010) has TWO versions ?

Ok it's time to say.

I was contacted by Namco on the beginning of YouTube era, if they could use a video i made about Splatterhouse. I said yes.

Months later, some insiders told me that my video and the tons of views opened their eyes for the franchise.

So yeah, i was kinda responsible for this remake happen.

Then i keep in touch with made friends and with some BR guys.

And YES i have the completed BottleRocket beta on my jtag xbox, that i use only for this game.

I have one slim to play the other games.

Fuck it, let's throw the shit on the fan.

Ask me what u want about that version!
do u think if they let bottle rocket do what they wanted the game would have came out better?

100% for sure.
The complete beta is already better than the released game...

All i can say is: If u feel a badass with Rick with the Namco version, triple that if was the BR version.

One example of a cut feature from BR version: you can smash your opponent and summon then to fight on your side. The summon animation it's like a taunt, he looks like a god.

Anyway, some performance issues, YES. But man, they just asked some TIME to polish.

Matt said the game made by BR wasn't complete, lmao...
Go now on YouTube and see the Namco version cutscenes, its ALL FROM BR, from Rick monster design to enemies.

Look now in YouTube the first and ending cutscenes...Its Rick BR design. And then a "SO CALLED YouTuber" told on the video that the game wasn't near to complete... That's why we should not believe on internet.

BR did EVERYTHING.
Game is complete.

What Namco did ? lego, scam.
Got all BR pieces and created their (rushed short) version.

Even used the cut island stage as a arena survival dlc's.

The BR game size is almost 6+ hours than the Namco version.

Sooooo much was cut.

No, and will never be released. Only 2 people on earth has the bottlerocket version.

Even if i supposedly have the beta, Namco issued my friend, so it's impossible to post videos, pictures, etc. Nobody wants trouble.

What if, hypothetically he'd forget to lock his door one night and a burglar just happened to pass by that night and steal the game? And accidentally dropped a thick wallet in the house? What could Namco do then?

This makes me sad

Updated for you to listen the 2 volumes of the BR ost.
60%-70% of this masterpiece of music was cut from the final product.

Hilarious! Congrats Namco!

Namco said the game had "technical issues", but Jay Beard (Bottlerocket owner) said it was a LIE.

Namco version is great, i love, but its hard to see how much was cut, even original soundtracks.
It's two different games that would be just one.

Why would they do this if there weren't 'technical issues' with the build? I'm not saying they were in the right, but I presume they had good reason to do what they did.

Time was the reason.
Jay wanted a complete and polished game.

The BR version indeed has serious issues on some sections, but they wanted time to optimize and polish.

Namco had no time, so they took all dev kits and did the modifications, added licensed music and 2D stages in a desperate way to hype people for the game.
They did metal events, a bunch of non-sense marketing and changed the game in months, all rushed.

Fair enough - so Jay Beard was actually the one lying when he said there were no technical issues holding up release?

Technical issues ? Who said that was Namco.
Namco said the game atmosphere was wrong, then technical issues...They lied a lot.

Frame drops is not a game breaking and far from "technical" issues, they needed time to optimize, that's it.

Those are exactly what technical issues are.

You played the game ? No ? I did.
Wasn't gamebreaker pal. They needed time to optimize, like i said.

So every game has technical issues nowdays, with rare exceptions...

There's other reasons the game was canned.

I never said they were game breaking - I said they are technical issues, which they are.

If you are into emulation, the best version of Splatterhead is on the FM Towns (Japanese home computer)

I didn’t say they didn’t. I’m just pointing out the obvious flaws in your narrative, which suggests you are actually the obtuse party in this discussion.
You don't can't even keep track of whom you are speaking to, let alone the implications of what getting fucked means. Touch grass, pal.

“You don’t can’t even keep track”

Haha nice one, coming from someone who can’t even construct a simple sentence.

That insinuates you matter enough to correct a typo for...but way to ignore the fact I'm not whom you were previously conversing with, or that your "argument' is fucking stupid.

Semantics and typos are the what you are left with when you have nothing meaningful to say.

I ignore these creatures.

Agree
They used it as an excuse to fuck them...surely you cannot be this obtuse.
Basically that's it.
The little game has become big.

That guy don't know nothing, just stop arguing, like i did.
