I can think we can all agree that diet coke with lime is the most vile, disgusting, utterly putrid beverage ever created by hands of humans. In the ever tragic situation that I AM forced to consume such an atrocity, I want to throw up all over myself. And not one of those weak half-ass throw ups, but the type of throw up where the people around you throw up because your throw up is so gross, and it starts this giant domino throw up effect and women start screaming and babies start crying and the thrown-up diet coke with lime aroma turns the surrounding air into a nazi gas chamber of hell. And when the dark wind of hatred spreads across the land, bodies will fall by the millions, and coca cola executives will laugh in their corporate suites, and the remaining citizens will cry out to the sky in anguish and pain, but no kind, merciful god will hear their cries because no gracious god would ever allow such a beverage to be sold in stores for little children to innocently purchase, for a mere $0.89, completely unaware of the fiery plague encompassed with it.

no I dislike diet coke as well, but not nearly to the extent of dc with lime. My mom's tastes buds must have rotted away years ago because she actually buys and drinks the stuff.

Me too, hence why I asked the question. If you don't like diet drinks than it would obviously taste bad. I hated them too before, but after drinking so many I aquired a taste for them.

personally i can't stand diet drinks, but maybe that's because they *fake me out* everytime. for some reason a diet drink will taste great to me for the first 2 seconds, but then right after that the crappy aftertaste will show up and it's all instantly ruined.

Yep. Although I've grown quite fond of Coke Zero. As far as DC w/lime, it's not too bad if you mix it with alcohol, preferably rum. My roommate tried it with tequila once, with DISASTEROUS results. I *still* don't think he's completely recovered from it.

Hmm. Controlling diabetes would you point you in that direction if you wanted to enjoy soda/pop.

diet coke with lime is alright, I prefer plain old diet coke (which is my favorite beverage)

diet coke with LEMON however, is some of the most vile stuff I have ever consumed in liquid form.

edit: the splenda versino is pretty bad too

Funny, I loved the taste of diet even years before I became a diabetic. I've always found regular soft drinks had a terrible syrupy aftertaste.

I hated diet soda when I first tried it, which was when I was diagnosed with diabetes. But after not drinking regular soda for a while I started to like the diet stuff, and now I can't stand regular soda at all.

More on-topic though, I like diet coke with lime, although not as much as diet coke with vanilla, which is the best drink ever, except maybe for coffee.
