It'd be really nice to get a bit more exposure for this game in general. Would be nice to see it get a bit more of a chance in the West and actually get some people aware that they're still making Digimon games in general. Still, hoping that this can do well enough to warrant Bandai bringing over Next Order and more when it comes to Digimon.

I hope so. This game needs as much exposure as it can get. Sending big Youtubers copies wouldn't be a bad idea either.

My only encounter with Digimon is playing the original Digimon World on PS1 back in the day, which I absolutely adored (seriously, loved it more than Pokemon).

This has piqued my interest and I'm really in the mood for a JRPG. DigiGAF, can I just jump in on this title?

If you're a Prime member I'd try giving customer service a call. I couldn't manage to get release date shipping, but I was able to get my shipping upgraded to one day shipping. It's worth a shot, but I was on the phone for like an hour and a half trying to get a decent customer service representative.

Yup. It is completely standalone so there's zero barrier of entry and going by comments, the JRPG gameplay is also great. In fact since your only experience is the original game, discovering all these new digimons should be a real treat.

Indeed, there were probably some door-knocks via social media and so on, but the petition most certainly seemed to take effect.

I really hope it translates to sales though. Lest online audiences be marked once again as a market that talks out of its ass to only not take action.

Finally got round to placing my order for the game, really looking forward to getting to play it.

I signed the original petition and didn't think it would do any good so I made sure to bit it day 1 to support the game since we need to show that there is a viable business reason for releasing it West side.

I saw there seemed to be some petty shit going on about the game earlier on the thread but didn't see what the cause was. I hope the game gets the sales it deserves and doesn't suffer from some faux outrage.
