I'm in WA, our winters are kind of mild, but they do regularly get into the 30's in February, but that's about it. I adore the cold, and to be honest I kind of wanna move somewhere colder and....less crazy lol. Don't know where I'd go necessarily, but I really like smaller, quiet towns, and it has to be somewhere that stays cold for most of the year. Folks believe WA is cold for much of the year, but they're full of shit or they watch too many movies. Our summers are long, and it doesn't get cold long enough to kill off bugs here, so we end up having bugs for like ten months out of the year. I mean Goddammit man, the best fuckin part of the cold is no bugs, and it doesn't really happen here! I went on a hike once here when it was 36 degrees out, I was like this is just perfect man.....until there were fuckin gnats everywhere! It doesn't make any fuckin sense man it's like we're cursed!
.......I'm......I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me. Allow me to compose myself.
*Ahem*
Winter is my favorite season mainly because of how much I despise bugs. I moved from TN to WA for the Army, hopeful that it was a less buggy area than TN. I've seen more gnats here than TN could have ever conceived of. In short, drop me somewhere where it's too cold for gnats, and I'll be a happy goddamn camper.
EDIT: Christ I realize I called winter a month instead of a season. Bless all of you for not saying anything about it and making me feel stupid, but I noticed it anyway lol. Fuck I'm stupid sometimes, (often.)
