Feels like demos are replacing Plus games, ah.
Very generous, although I would argue that the first three missions are the weakest in the game. The game really picks up when you hit the.Clockwork Mansion
That area in particular is an exemplary piece of level design.
Will this allow trophy unlocks or no? The article doesn't say.
Addermire Institute is pretty good though, finding different places to enter, exploring each floor, unlocking more areas as you go along and piecing together just whats going on there.
Its a testament to how good the level design in the game is that you can start with stellar levels like Shore of Karnaca and Addermire Institute yet still getting even better and better with each level.
Dishonored 2 is the reason Im so excited for Prey. Arkane are masters of their craft.

It says your progress can transfer over which means any trophies you earned will unlock when you buy the game.
Dont expect the demo to give you trophies.
Timepiece level is in the top 3 best things I've ever played and I've been playing since mid 90s. My jaw was dropped constantly, completely floored at how technically amazing/cool the level was. I desperately wish there was more than 1 level for it or another game that was similar with multiple levels like that.
Gonna try this out to see the performance I'll get.
Also, how many missions are there in Dishonored 2? Because 3 missions for a demo sounds like a lot....
Didn't Titanfall 2 have a similar level/mechanic?
Yes it did. Lets leave it at that without getting spoilerific for either game.
When will it be available exactly? 6th of April is already here in many countries.
Demo is up in the spanish psn.
Yo the demo be like.."52gbs biotch..@$!# you gon' do huh?!
The demo be like, "Hello, I am the full game that will unlock if you choose to purchase me".
i can confirm, demo is up on UK PSN and steam
Yeah, the missions are varied and of extremely high quality overall. Maybe a couple that aren't as great as others, but since the peaks are some of the most impressive stuff I've seen in games that would be basically impossible. I wasn't super enthused by Dishonored 1 but this game knocks it out of the park. It's like one of those games I thought they didn't make anymore. There are. And yes, they are just as big, if not bigger than D1. The middle stretch of missions in Dishonored 2 are incredible. They only get better as you progress.__9__
It runs off from the end result of the first game. But I think you can guess how that ends.Is this demo safe to play if you have not finished dishonored? Any major spoilers from the first level?
If I download this trial is it a full game download, or just the 3 levels you download? I don't want to spend all my bandwidth downloading the entire game only to not like it...
Give it a shot folks, it's great.
Depends on the platform. On consoles it's a full download but the Steam demo download contains just demo-related content and is significantly smaller (progress will still carry over to the full game).
Do you know if we can access beta branch using the demo? Is 1.3 already pulled to master?
It's only great if you didn't play the first game and DLC.
The sequel has some great moments, but the story is incredibly underwhelming imo. Gameplay is pretty busted in places too.
I remember the worst being one of the last missions in the game. But I noticed the bad performance pretty early on so the demo should be enough to judge the expected performance for you.How long do you need to play to see the worst of the framedrops on PC?
