"The first hit's free."Yeah you can just do Star Wars stuff, but you'll probably have a bunch more figures if you enjoy it.

That's how PC and mobile players got new characters if they wanted the figures.I've only opened the Starter Pack and played in the hub for over an hour. I'm having a lot of fun just being engrossed in the Disney World. I haven't played any playsets yet, though.
The starter pack has a little digital code card for a "free digital character." What does the code do? I couldn't find anything on the website where I could download it.
There are about four or five that are tied to online multiplayer or user generated content. Unless Disney does something to alleviate that, then, yeah, they'll be unobtainable. Will any PSN trophies become unobtainable when this goes offline?

I use two CD closets:Welp, now that I'm four Star Wars figures away from having the complete line (Light FX doubles), displaying has now entered my mind. How is everyone showcasing/displaying/storing their Disney Infinity figures?
With all of the fire sales happening, I could easily see myself stumbling into the other Disney IPs. :-o
Toys R' Us this week has a Buy 1 Get 3 Free sale on Infinity figures. Buy 1 Get 3 Free! That's Crazy Eddie level of pricing!Be warned: All those low prices can make collecting mighty addicting.
I started this collection about two months ago.
Worth it, though.
I don't know why I didn't initially respond to your display case. That looks pretty slick! Were those CD closets hanging around your place already and repurposed or did you buy them for that sole purpose?I use two CD closets:
The third option! That's what I do at least, haha. Whatever grabs my attention.I don't know why I didn't initially respond to your display case. That looks pretty slick! Were those CD closets hanging around your place already and repurposed or did you buy them for that sole purpose?
Now that I've sunk some time into Infinity 3.0, there's no shortage of things to do! The Toy Hub is chock full of fun and I've spent more time there than in the playset. I've only finished one mission in the Clone Wars playset!
I have to admit, I am feeling a bit overwhelmed right now. Should I focus on clearing the playsets first? Leveling up my difference characters? Or just going ADD buck-wild and whatever I find fun at the time?
Where did you buy these?I use two CD closets:

Thanks. I'm not entirely happy about how the figures are arranged though, so it might look a lot different in a couple of day's.I don't know why I didn't initially respond to your display case. Everywhere and nowhere.Where did you buy these?
It's very much playable now. The fan-made levels haven't gone away yet; early next year, maybe February or March, is their scheduled demise. So I haven't been keeping up with this but Toys R Us blow out sale got me to pick this up. So the game is still playable right? Just no fan made level and any future update.
Hey everybody! Finally going in with the TRU sale. I'm getting the basic 3.0 Star Wars set and some figures (Merida, Vision, Rocket Raccoon, and Ronan).
I'm mostly a Marvel fan, and I'm torn between grabbing the 2.0 set with the Avengers playset or the Marvel Battlegrounds set. Which do you guys recommend? I'll mostly be playing solo, which makes me think Avengers, but I usually enjoy the story modes of fighting games even if they're not super deep.
All this Rogue One excitement is opening up old wounds for me.
Moana is a bigger deal.
Oh man, Moana and Maui figures would have been great. Ugh.
Oh you don't know?
Allow me the pleasure of ripping your heart out.

Nope, I missed that bit of news. Just brutal, it all looked so great.

They have to reach a certain level I believe. Don't recall which.Do figures no longer appear in the Hall of Heroes? I've picked up a bunch from the insane Best Buy sales over the last couple months and they all appear in the Collection page on the game's main menu, but when I go into the Hall of Heroes rooms, none of the new figures/discs/etc are appearing.
So will levels I have downloaded still work on console after the server's are cut?
Seems like the people that bought dlc on steam got the new versions for free, but people using digital codes get nothing. Would be nice if they'd give a Steam key via our disney accounts or something.
Yeah, had to explain to my daughter how it disappeared from my computer this morning. Bit frustrating for sure.
I'm really fucking pissed off, because I actually spent quite a decent penny on playsets and figures, and now I can't even fucking play them. (I owned most of the 3.0 playsets, besides the new Star Wars film and Marvel Battlegrounds, a good amount of the 3.0 figures)So I just got a "no you get nothing" response from DI support about my request for a steam key. Apparently you had to make a digital purchase for them to care, the web codes mean nothing to them. Glad I didn't spend any more money on this than I did. I'll consider buying the gold editions in a year or two for 75% off.

It's outrageous.
I mean I thank them for going to the effort of making it playable offline, but screwing over anyone who bought the figure versions of your content? What a dick move.
Support doesn't know what it's on about either. I contacted them complaining and all they said was "You can download it on Steam to play if if you used webcodes". But you can't, because you removed it from my account. The only thing I can do is buy the content again on Steam.
Yeah, on the one hand I'm glad they made an offline version, and that's great, more than I expected. But if I had known I just needed to buy a $5 dlc on Steam to get it, I would have done that, before it was removed. Now I'm stuck either paying full price (not gonna happen) or waiting until it goes on sale. It's pretty obnoxious, but then they always treated PC players like we were second rate any way.

That's pretty crazy. Odds are console owners spend more on this because web codes were found for dirt cheap, meanwhile many people have amassed huge collections of physical figures and I imagine at much greater expense. IMO they should throw everyone a bone and make 'Gold' version upgrades for those who bought the console version and all the figures and playset pieces that came with that. I'm decluttering and thus am selling off my small collection of figures( like half a dozen Star Wars figures and the same amount of Marvel 2.0 characters), but I bought the digital Ps4 version which is of course worthless without the figures and base.
You should email Valve about Steam Workshop support. The modding community could make this game one of the GOAT.
The idea that steam or valve has anything to do with the development of the game is insane. That isn't how steam works. It's basically just customer service that either has no idea what it is talking about, or is just trying to get rid of you by telling you lies. Further development will never have anything to do with steam or valve. The game is dead, we're lucky we got the gold editions at all.
Thanks for saying what I was going to post almost exactly, though as someone who didn't qualify for the free gold edition & got my existing version yanked from under me, I'm not quite as happy with the gold release.
This CS likely has no clue about the dev process or support process for the gold version. Workshop support ain't happening.
Yeah I'm in same boat as you, I'm sad I lost everything, and annoyed I didn't get a chance to at least get the gold versions at a large discount (or free), but I am glad at least they exist, and they didn't just let it die completely.
