That's one of the only things I like about the game. Looooooooove me some collectibles!
True but not use that for the tools you need to play the main game mode.

I guess you're right there. I haven't messed around in Toybox mode for more than a few minutes, because I don't see myself spending a lot of time building levels.True but not use that for the tools you need to play the main game mode.
Have to update you guys on my Jack Skellington C.E story. So, I had it pre-ordered and, long story, short, a second batch just arrived today prompting Gamestop to call me to pick it up.
So I get there. IT was handed to me. Right side of the cardboard curled back. I ask for another and that I would prefer one that is "mint". Manager looks at it, says, "Item looks mint".
I show him the cardboard. He said item is all that matters. I respond "Not if you're collectin..." before realizing I'm arguing with a guy who is telling me what I should expect in return for my hard earned money. I think he sees me about to blow my lid and offers "I can give you this one." and hands me a perfectly packaged item.
In the next two seconds, I'm debating whether to embarrass this guy in front of everyone or begin a heated argument or just walk out while I can. I choose the former.
MY own damn fault for expecting better service. I have no words. Between two equal items, his lesson was that I should opt for a bent cardboard box with item I paid hard earned money for. Surreal.

Picked up Woody today. They had about 30 of him, but only about four had decent paint apps. Most of them had missing paint under his lifted boot, goofy-looking eyes, and random splotches of paint on his jeans and shirt.
One of them didn't even have eyes!
I thought Disney would be better with quality control. Makes me a bit leery to get Jack Skellingtonand Ralph and Vanellope and oh man these figures are cool!
I'm really glad I held off buying this game, so I'll stand on the sidelines seeing where this thing goes.
Wasn't there a cartoon with all of the Disney characters interacting? Like set in a nightclub or restaurant? There needs to be a campaign in the next game where all of the characters interact.

Awesome! Which system are you playing on?Looks like I'm unlocking the Dragon's Den.

Awesome. Any interest in unlocking it for a fellow GAFfer sometime? My gamertag is the same as my name here, eggwolio.360. It wasn't very exciting, but for a free add on from a park admission I can't complain.
Added pro controller support, added the tron Frisbee thingy to the vault, fixed the regenerating spin so you can't use the teleport trick for unlimited spins anymore. I think that's about it. Or at least those are the noticeable changes.my Wii U version just took an update, anyone know what it fixed?

So now that the hype has gone down, what's the general consensus on this game? Worth the money?

I blew a load of cash at launch on all the figures bar Violet.
It's been such a disappointment.
Same here. Kids don't even give a shit anymore. Any word on the PC version, if that's still happening? I think the improved resolution and framerate would do wonders (currently have the WiiU version).
So my girlfriend bought the sorcerer Mickey collectible.
And I was wondering, isn't there a world with a story that comes with a new character. Just like you had with the starter pack (Sully (Monsters World), Jack Sparrow (Pirates world), Mr Incredible (The Incredibles world))
But can it be that I am missing such a world with sorcerer Mickey?
My Target pack with all the series two power discs arrived today. Sadly I can't even muster up the energy to open them now that I have Skylanders on the PS4. :/
My little brother want this and it seems like it would make a nice Christmas present. I have a few questions and would greatly appreciate some answers.
- How is the multiplayer on Wii U? Is it split screen, are you both always sharing the same screen, or does it allow one player to get the full screen and the other the gamepad?
- Someone mentioned that all the content is on the disc. Has anyone produced a list of all the content we can expect from this first run of the game?
- Which additional playsets would you recommend?
- How long does it take to complete a playset?
- Which additional characters would you recommend for each playset (including the starter ones) in order to be able to play coop in each set?
Well I ended up picking up the starter set on Wii U and the bundle of characters that comes with Mrs. Incredible, Mike, and some pirate. I also got a case for him to put it in because it was on sale. If any of the other playsets drop in price before Christmas I may pick them up. Otherwise, I'll just leave it with that and see where we go from there. It is surprising to see how many empty racks there are at the stores. I would think that the high price would deter more people.
Teenage girls are fickle. I'd get her a starter pack but hold off on extra figures for now.Would you recommend this game for a teenage girl who loves building in Minecraft? She asked for this game, but I want to make sure we aren't wasting our money.
