Not sure if this is really thread worthy, so I'm putting it here, and it's slightly related to the fact it's about Dissidia limited stuff:

DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY: WHO WILL YOU BUY FROM?

A little over a month ago we showed you the reversible DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY package art, and today we have more news to sweeten the DISSIDIA experience.

The clever marketing crew has struck a deal with several retailers to give away limited DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY items. Perhaps you've chosen whether you're a Cosmos or a Chaos fan, but who will you buy from?

More special stuff! (This is for Europe only though!)

Via Siliconera: http://www.siliconera.com/2009/07/0...imited-collectors-edition-is-only-for-europe/

Dissidia: Final Fantasy in unique packaging.

The best soundtrack mini-CD (perhaps, the same one Amazon is offering as a pre-order bonus).

A hardback, 48 page Dissidia art book with character artwork and CG rendered art.

A mini-game guide with character descriptions, a walkthrough, and more character art from Brady Games.

Two exclusive lithograph prints that Square Enix is showing us today.

Not to throw wild speculation into this thread, but why is the movie listed as UMD and the game not? Probably means nothing though.

Oh and too bad this is a PSP 3000. :(

Because they are cool like that DD ftw.

Or, maybe this is just GS clearing out their 3000 stock?
For all we know, they will still sell the model that gives them used game sales while the DD PSP is available.

1. WTF? Thats not the new PSP!

2. Whose face is strapped onto back?

3. How can you make a WotL style box art and NOT put my man Ramza in there? You're just twisting the knife now SE

The only negative I see here is that the late august release date of Dissidia stateside really is set in stone. Nice bundle, I wonder how many will be bought

This might discount a new PSP at E3

The same way the Lilac PSP Hannah Montana bundle has already discounted it? PSP2/Go/4k won't be out in August, it'll probably hit late this year.

Is Sony planning on having two PSPs on the market? Ratchet and Clank bundle, Hanna Montana Bundle, Rock Band Unplugged Bundle, Dissidia Bundle... clearly the PSP-3000 isn't going anywhere anytime soon with all these bundles.

This supposed new PSP won't be out for awhile then if that's the case.

Blah, not interested with all the buzz about the "new" PSP around the corner.
Not unless you want a homebrew capable PSP. This has been hacked as well and it just a matter of time before it will support homebrew fully.

Thought this was common knowledge already ? Sin even confirmed that this model will receive a price cut and be left on the market along with the new PSP models.

UMD as opposed to the DVD and Blu-ray versions. There's no need for the game to do the same as the "UMD version" is obviously the only version.

The new PSP will be coming out after this and they will continue to support the PSP-3000 as it'll be the only model which still has a UMD drive, games will still be coming out on UMD and they'll still have to sell consoles that can support them.

Not the biggest fan of the domestic boxart, especially since it's basically a collage of character art when they already have an official image of them standing together against the opposing characters. In CGI even, which they seem to so love to put on the American market boxart.

As will be the case with whatever new PSP model is created.
I still have my PSP-1000 in the meantime.

It's nice we are finally getting an SE bundle, but why no pretty artwork on the psp? :( The color is pretty sweet though and I'm a sucker for FF so I'll probably still buy.

Should have been a white system. It's garbage that the only white PSP we got here is the Darth Vader one.

People bitched and moaned about the Vader PSP because it had artwork on it, and said they would have bought it if it had been plain white. Now this bundle's announced, and people are complaining because the PSP (apparently) doesn't have any artwork on it. I swear, it's impossible to please you people.

We care more about Nomura art than Darth Vader.
