Yup, always been called that.SnowWolf said:I think it's always been called metallic silver.
:lol You're right! I'm still checking the site a lot today just to see how long they last for and black was still there a few hours ago...XiaNaphryz said:The Metallic Silver LE is still available for pre-order, the black one's still sold out.
The notes in 4B looks gigantic after getting used to those modes :lolXiaNaphryz said:After getting used to 6B in the first game (and still trying to really master 8B), I dunno how 5B is going to work out for me...
Meh, it was going to happen. Just feel sorry for the real fans who'll have to pay an even greater premium price for their LE.klee123 said:
I'm sure the more enterprising individuals out there pre-ordered both LEs planning on Ebaying one of them (more likely the Silver one, so I'd imagine the prices for the black one to go even higher).xcomp said:Meh, it was going to happen. Yeah, I never got a mail either. I just check the site every few hours just in case.ghibli99 said:WTF... not even an email from them saying that the preorder had begun. Hate. Oh well, I can live w/ the game only (my DJMP1 box is sitting unused, minus the game/OST).
xcomp said:Indeed, check out the trailer on the first post to see it in action.
For the others, check out these new gameplay vids at Ruliweb.

DJ Max 2 sports a new Fever ability that acts a whole lot like Guitar Hero's Star Power. By successfully hitting notes, you fill up your Fever ability which, when activated, speeds up the notes and applies a 2x score multiplier. By filling up yet another Fever, you can activate it again for a 3x multiplier, so on and so forth until -- well, we got it up to six and it was getting mighty hard to read.
Doh, for some reason I was thinking of the triangle button instead of the X button...you don't really use the X button in regular gameplay, so it's free to use for that new Fever thing. Silly me.XiaNaphryz said:Wait, so the X button activates Fever? Isn't the X button normally used in gameplay already?
xcomp said:Indeed. I was thinking the same thing :lol
And a demo is up now! Something to enjoy for the next few days until it's finally out. Just find it at the official site:

Create a folder called "ULKS46116-1" in the Game folder of your PSP and put the Eboot there. You need FW v3.11 for this 7MB demo.

Yeah, you can switch disks and enjoy all the new modes of the second game with the prequel's songs. Think that means you'll be able to play them in the new 5B mode too which is great because it'll kind of knock up the song collection to 110 or so!Sugarman said:play asian mentions a link mode that lets you play songs from djmp1. wtf?
Yeah, it probably will although I read on other boards that someone done a simple hex hack to make the demo playable on FW v3.10. Guess someone will end up hacking the final game too...SnowWolf said:Does that mean the final game will need 3.11 also? I'm still running the custom Dark Alex 3.03 firmware, what should I do?![]()
The minimum is 4 button but the songs are divided in levels and 4B level 1 songs are pretty easy and although they may take a few tries to complete they are very good for beginners.Blablurn said:just a short question: i played the demo where i had to control 5 different buttons. as a noobie in this genre i was swamped in terms of playing this game (although i love it). in the full game, are there any beginner stages which feature 2 or 3 button controls?
