Yeah, mine came out to be 51USD for EMS.

Anyways, it's good that the LE's are available again, but I wouldn't be surprised if it gets pre sold out before the release date.

Huh. I thought they were both sold out, looks like in my anger I missed the add to shopping cart button and only noticed the pre icon. Thanks for pointing it out. I really don't want silver, but I guess I'll have to settle for it. In my anger and desperation though, currently begging for someone else's preorder on gamefaqs that's thinking about cancelling it. I've also sentl ike 2 mails since. They replied back earlier saying it was available for preorder, both. But of course it's a damn slow reply and well. i lost my lid if anything. sigh.

I got the black one myself *rubs hands devilishly* I saw this thread was bumped, and immediately hit my bookmark to the page to buy it =D

Boy I'm glad I have to get into work early!

I think it's always been called metallic silver.
Yup, always been called that.

BTW, pre-orders are still up. I guess there isn't 500 players who are fans enough to pay the premium price :lol

It is pretty crazy though... Almost double the price for a $80 LE. But nothing you can do when you're outside of Asia =P

I'm set for black but now I'm thinking do I really need a bigger picture of the boxart... Silver is good too but those two girls isn't the mascot for the DJMP games >_>

:lol You're right! I'm still checking the site a lot today just to see how long they last for and black was still there a few hours ago...

And I see they've setup a banner for it now too.

After getting used to 6B in the first game (and still trying to really master 8B), I dunno how 5B is going to work out for me...

The notes in 4B looks gigantic after getting used to those modes :lol

Still can't do songs like Blythe without button bashing but haven't really practised with it. And I'm still working on unlocking all the songs in the International version =P

But yeah, 5B will be a new experience.

Meh, it was going to happen. Just feel sorry for the real fans who'll have to pay an even greater premium price for their LE.

BTW, Divine Service looks really evil with all that blood in it and the looks!

I'm sure the more enterprising individuals out there pre-ordered both LEs planning on Ebaying one of them (more likely the Silver one, so I'd imagine the prices for the black one to go even higher).

WTF... not even an email from them saying that the preorder had begun. Hate. Oh well, I can live w/ the game only (my DJMP1 box is sitting unused, minus the game/OST).

Yeah, I never got a mail either. I just check the site every few hours just in case.

Those would be my fingers :X The big addition I noticed was the Fever ability which I'll just copy and paste from my post since the site is banned ;o

DJ Max 2 sports a new Fever ability that acts a whole lot like Guitar Hero's Star Power. By successfully hitting notes, you fill up your Fever ability which, when activated, speeds up the notes and applies a 2x score multiplier. By filling up yet another Fever, you can activate it again for a 3x multiplier, so on and so forth until -- well, we got it up to six and it was getting mighty hard to read.

It'll piss you off every time you accidentally hit the X button to activate it, but it's pretty fun once you start using it on your own terms.

Wait, so the X button activates Fever? Isn't the X button normally used in gameplay already?

And the fever mode speed-up, is that the same effect as using the speed modifiers in the original game?

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing... If X activates it then that means you're pretty much forced to use it. In the video, I saw the bar filled up but fever mode didn't get activated even when you hit the X button...? Odd unless you're using a different button config.

I'm guessing fever mode speeds up the game like the modifiers but the difference is you can't toggle it on and off =P

- Edit -

Er, wait... I was confusing the triangle key with the X button XD

In that case, it's kind of hard to accidentally activate fever mode...

Sorry for double posting but if I didn't, this topic wouldn't be bumped XD

It looks like Japan might be getting an exclusive Gold Champagne LE package. Contents will be the same as the two Korean ones except the Japanese will get an extra poster. It goes on sale April 15th for 19,800 Yen.

Note the picture is for illustrative purposes only and is subject to change. In other words, the final version probably won't look like this. If it did, it would put the Korean LEs to shame :lol

Just ran a translation through the notice that Pentavision's put up about this new "Champagne Gold LE".

pop02tp6.jpg

It indeed has nothing to do with Pentavision thus they have asked the Japanese site to remove this fake limited edition from their site. Only the Night Black and Metallic Silver editions are available and pre-orders for those have already ended.

Pentavision apologises for any of the confusion caused and will make sure that there will be no other limited editions produced.

Oh, and there's a new trailer with footage from the new opening movie on Ruliweb now :D

Download the WMV version, better quality.

Yeah, looking around other sites it did seem that Gold LE wasn't quite legit. Nice to see Pentavision clear things up quickly.

Only a week or so to go! :D

Doh, for some reason I was thinking of the triangle button instead of the X button...you don't really use the X button in regular gameplay, so it's free to use for that new Fever thing. Silly me. :D

Just played it. Contains one song "Sunset Rider" in 5B mode. Takes some getting used to :lol

And the new Fever feature is brilliant. Score/combo multiplier means no more nightmares with 90,000 combo unlockables... Still need to spend a lot of time reaching that high even with a 5x multiplier but at least it's quicker now!

Site has also been updated with new screens, song list (including OP "Your Own Miracle") and two wallpapers!

Create a folder called "ULKS46116-1" in the Game folder of your PSP and put the Eboot there. You need FW v3.11 for this 7MB demo.

Does that mean the final game will need 3.11 also? I'm still running the custom Dark Alex 3.03 firmware, what should I do? :(

Dang, the Koreans have some exclusive demos of "Solrem (Excitement) and "Divine Service" at their train stations! Different song at different stations so I guess it's encouraging them to travel too :lol

play asian mentions a link mode that lets you play songs from djmp1. wtf?
Yeah, you can switch disks and enjoy all the new modes of the second game with the prequel's songs. Think that means you'll be able to play them in the new 5B mode too which is great because it'll kind of knock up the song collection to 110 or so!

Yeah, it probably will although I read on other boards that someone done a simple hex hack to make the demo playable on FW v3.10. Guess someone will end up hacking the final game too...

just a short question: i played the demo where i had to control 5 different buttons. as a noobie in this genre i was swamped in terms of playing this game (although i love it). in the full game, are there any beginner stages which feature 2 or 3 button controls?

The minimum is 4 button but the songs are divided in levels and 4B level 1 songs are pretty easy and although they may take a few tries to complete they are very good for beginners.

Yeah, there's 4B, 6B and 8B mode. The demo's 5B mode is new.

This sequel will apparently have another layer of difficulty settings so 4B mode may become even easier then the prequel.
