DJMAX Technika tune (Vita) Features music from KARA.

You know what's more fun than a 99,999 combo? Grinding for a 999,999 combo in DJMAX Portable 3. Gotta get those highscores no one cares about! Felt good though.
 
Im not going to bother with the LE.
Already have the Persona Gold Edition on order, so I dont need more accesories for my vita.
Will definetly be grabbing the regular version though.
 
What's the difference between the different LE's?

Is it confirmed you can't get US DLC if you get Kor/Jpn LE? It's region free though... :(

I'm afraid I can't get into the 750!

Thanks for the videos.

For the LE, I assumed (for some reason) that it actually came with all four straps (stupid assumption? haha), but it looks like you only get one of a random color.

So it looks like, compared to the JP LE, the difference is the pouch and the Vita card case, and the strap looks a bit different (the JP LE one has the screen wipe thing attached to it and is white).

Since I reserved at Sofmap, I'll also be getting a huge (assuming they are the same ones I saw at the game's preview day) DJ Max cloth cleaner. I'll post some pics/info here on the JP LE when I pick it up.
 
I'm praying that I can pick this up. Not only is it a mystery when the pre-order page will pop up, but my debit card got locked after ordering Hatsune Miku because of it being a purchase from outside the U.S.

If I can manage to not only clear up this bank crap but also be around when the LE is up, it'll be a miracle.

Yeah. I'm kind of iffy on it now, especially with so many other games coming soon (digital LittleBigPlanet Vita, Dead or Alive 5, Resident Evil 6, Code of Princess, Dishonored, Ragnarok Odyssey, etc.). =\

I'd be willing to bet the LE doesn't sell out right away. I don't want to give you false hope, but it took the LE for DJMP3 like a month to do it (on a much more established system than the Vita). Then again, that LE was 1000 copies instead of 750 and had crap in it compared to this one.

You make some good points. I'll have my fingers crossed. And honestly, if I can't get it then oh well. It's not like I need more crap laying around. Even if said crap is branded with DJMAX logos.
 
i'm still debating. while the unboxing video turned me off i still want to preorder. but then again i don't and i should wait to buy on the PSN store. it's a game i want on the system rather than a cart. lol. I guess i'll just find out when this countdown finishes.

My guess is that it will be up at 3:00 EST, considering that's 12:00PM for PST and the countdown goes by your computer's clock. Time to wait another 3 hours.
 
Maybe this is a sign...like I shouldn't get the collectors edition. I mean, it's not like it's gonna be hard to buy the regular edition at launch.

I just switched my clock to pacific time just to test that theory and the countdown went to 2 hours 52 minutes.

Wow, I know it was goofy of them to not lock the countdown to a time zone, but overreact much? I saw this coming as soon as they put the website up (the source code makes the problem really obvious), I can wait another 2h50m.

I was on the fence about getting it anyway but I'll just save it for now. And yeah that unboxing video kind of attributed to it. I guess I don't need all the extra fluff laying around.

Pretty silly they didn't put the appropriate timezones.
 
I've never played a DJ Max game, and am kinda iffy on rhythm/beat games since I tend not to like the music that's in them but I've watched the trailers for this and I'm in love already! I think I'll take the plunge and get the Limited Edition, but the game isn't supposed to release in NA until Fall right?
 
2 more hours! to get LE pre-order in. Will be playing Borderlands 2 in the mean time.

I don't want to get a Vita for one game either but I absolutely need Technika in my life after only playing it once or twice a year at anime conventions. Best rhythm game I've ever played.

I agree, I love DJ Max, it probably counted for 95% of my time with PSP. Having said that, Technika fits perfectly on touch screen, and iPad is 10" vs. 5.5" of Vita. Hardware is more than adequate. Which Pentavision seems to notice as well.

Best thing would be DJ Max PS3 with leaderboards, Vs. Multi, 1080p videos, etc.

I'm honestly not a big fan of the 'play Beatmania on normal buttons' DJ Max :\ Just seemed like more of the same to me, but I found the touchscreen gameplay of Technika to be an absolute joy, and one of the easiest rhythm games for anyone to instantly pick up, understand, and play.

But what is DJ Max Ray or whatever you mentioned? Are they porting Technika to another platform? Or is it a rumor? I would like an iPad version as well, seems a bit more suitable and you could emulate the arcade gameplay instead of moving gameplay elements to the rear touchscreen of the Vita to compensate for the small screen.

Videos of Technika Tune show the backtouch mapping is optional, as most videos of Technika Tune gameplay have it disabled.

Wow, I wonder if it's a crazy version of Technika and they're withholding details so as to not discourage people from buying Tune.

And at the same time, I'd still have to buy an iPad for that game, but I feel like it'd be the superior, more fun version.

Wish they'd make a PC version :( I'd rather buy and play it on a touch monitor than either platform.
