DJMAX Technika tune (Vita) Features music from KARA.

The true reason for the delay becomes clear. Licensing complications with the long stripes.

Well the overseas versions DO have all the stripes.

I just heard they're receiving their shipment of stripes from Sony next week and will be posting a photo of the first stripe off the printing press later on Facebook.

Is there a lot of songs?

Btw is this game playable on commute? Seems like you need the vita on your lap or a stand or something.

Sounds hard to play holding it up. Depends how flexible / long your fingers are maybe?

For some of the hold notes you can use the back touch panel, though.

Stripes and stripe applicators will be individually mailed to Collector's Edition customers.

Prompt came up asking if this was my first Technika, game was automatically set to Easy.

I'm gonna assume that I should keep it that way for a while.

This. Game. Is. Godlike. It has managed to pull me away from Persona 4 Golden, which I am enjoying immensely for the first time.

I need to figure out how to play the tutorial again...
It's the "?" on the corner of the Mixing Select screen.

Pulling some stuff together but I'm pretty tired and lazy ._.

And you probably have better ideas than I do anyway! Maybe I should get a Google Doc going...

I'd be happy to help as well. DJ MAX needs a nice shiny OT.

If nothing else I can find some nice graphics and a songlist. Could've sworn ReaperXL07 was doing it though...

Oh, didn't notice he had a claim for it in the unconfirmed list. Haven't seen him around this thread though.

I haven't done much besides mirror some images from the official website onto imgur. To be honest, I'm probably better for keeping something up to date rather than writing it in the first place ._.

Oh yeah, can't forget Technika Toner.

Well, as long as it has lots of images from the MVs, that's good by me. (Probably could use their title screens alone.)

Actually I think I'm going to turn in for the night. I'm a lot more tired than I thought I would be and am not really in any shape to write copy or BBcode. If you still want me to be the one to make the actual thread (keeping things up to date, I'm good at) I'm still up for that, but otherwise I'm bowing out for tonight.

My download is moving pretty quickly. About 30 minutes left though so we'll see.

Is there any friendlist interaction with this?

My input for the OT! Full song list: (Sorry, I know the formatting kinda sucks)

every video i seen shows people playing this on a table.

Any kinda claw grip posture for travel?

btw: how hard is this? Never played technika before. Any cheapo ios games like this I can give a shot to see if I like the style?

For travel, use front+back mode. Right (or left) hand holding the Vita and finger on the back touch, and other hand for touching front.

Nothing I played on iOS is quite like it, I guess. I'd say it's easier to get into than past DJ Max games, but on the high end there is still crazy difficulty.

I turned off back touch, holding it in one hand and tapping with the other. I'm still on the 'beginner' course though, playing on normal difficulty.

This is leaving some rather artistic smudges on my screen.

Star mixing doesn't use the backtouch anyway, so you aren't missing anything.

I can't tell if I prefer touchscreen + rear pad or touchscreen only. I'm edging toward to former if just because it gives me extra notes that I can hit anywhere rather than in specific spots on the touchscreen.

Cytus is probably the best one I've played on iOS that has a similar gameplay style. I think it's about $2. Obviously DJMax is much more polished and has a better song list, but it might give you some idea if you'll enjoy it.
