Do any other bugs spin webs?

Today I finished eating, and when I saw a bug in the air, climbing up a string from the ground to the ceiling, but it wasn't a spider. It almost looked like a millipede! I cleaned some fresh corn earlier, so I'm thinking it came from there, but climbing up a web? What? Are there other bugs that spin webs other than spiders? I mean it COULD have been climbing up a line of web a spider left, but it was in an area I commonly walk passed, and how'd it know how to climb the string in the first place?

Yes, some caterpillars and inch worms spin webs, and not just for cacoons in the catapillar's case. Inch worms in particular like to hang from trees / your ceiling with their silk

t-minus 10 seconds untill "Spiderz are not bugz d00d!!1"

...what do you mean?
I meant someone would come in here trying to say a spider is an arachnid, and isn't a bug (see title) when they really meant insect. It would have been wrong, if not just missing the point, but it would not be wholey unexpected on GAF.
