Do you guys get more? On old forums years ago it was a more common thing, but nowadays it doesn't seem to be used much.

They were more popular when anonymous chat rooms were limited to mIRC. Now that Discord is popular, people get out their chattiness elsewhere and there isn't a need on forums. This is also diminished due to forum quote functions massively improving and spoiler and notification functions being introduced, allowing a smooth direction of particular comments that won't get lost in the mix.
