With the games themselves, there's been a number of cases where the more obvious choice of picking a prettier character would have clearly been the appropriate choice. MJ in spiderman for example was bizarre because that game skews male im sure and you'd think the would want to be extra sure the player understood the attraction to her. But they went out of the way to hit her with the woofhammer. That's totally different, and not nearly as good, reason to dial back 'sex'.

The booth babes thing is gross. I never liked any of that and always felt it was terrible cringe. I just feel embarrassed for how those women must look at the guys who are into it. It gives me a real ick feeling. It's all super pointless now that we've got free access to all the most intense porn in the palm of our hands at all times. As for game marketing, I wish everyone in the gaming industry would take a few years off and adopt the Nintendo model of only announcing games about 6 months out from release, and show actual gameplay when you announce them. I don't pay attention to games press anymore after we've seen so many games that were announced, had a CGI trailer, then take years to come out or just get canceled.
