Dont laugh, but for some reason i am thinking i need more ram to visit ign, i am only using 96megs right now, plan to upgrade to 256+96 = 352 soon. But the site as been acting funny for months now, i am getting flashing, popups, flashing popups, the left side is flashing, not to mention showing weird colors and overall the site seems sloppy.

Anyone else notice this?

Yea, they doing something with it, too much junk and links i guess. Ign use to be the bomb couple years ago, but all the junk they keep adding to it, looks weird.

Well I notice a lot of sites like to use really CPU heavy java ads, so if you're on a weak computer, you might wanna hit control-alt-delete and see what your CPU usage is when it's happening.

IGN crashes my internet explorer all the time. Only website to do it. Pisses me off a lot, especially as its usually the first site I visit.

It's a Firefox related problem. The flashing/flickering does nor appear in IE.

Gamespot has the same problem.

IGN sucks, too slow. I have 384MB and its slow. Opera 8 does an okay job, but still is slow. I disable java and some plug-ins.
