Do you personally know anyone who had COVID-19?

My Brother has it now.

Now that doctors are starting to look for people that had it before hand my Wife and Kids probably had it. My wife was sick from December until now. I believe it started off as the flu then she got pneumonia. She was off and on to work and probably picked up Covid-19. She still gets winded easily and has breathing issues. She cracked a rib from coughing so much in late feb. She went to the ER at the hospital I work at right at the start of the Corona scare and they didn’t test her. This all could have been the double pneumonia but symptoms are so similar it’s hard to tell. I recall a night my daughter was crying because she couldn’t breathe and had serious gasps for air with a fever. Couple days later she was fine.

My Wife’s Boss’s father in law died. He was in his 80s.

I just got cleared today from being around someone that went home with a fever and cough last week. Her test was negative.

A coworker who already had cancer was on a respirator for 3 weeks. They told her family to “put her affairs in order” but she pulled through. Thank God. I’ve heard the survival rate is only 10% once you need a respirator. Now she still has to deal with cancer. Life sucks.

Yeah. Someone who died from it at a retirement home and couldn't even have a proper goodbye.

It's no where near as bad as the fake news are making out.

Two of my housemates had it, and two of us didn't. Bit weird that. Nobody was tested (UK lol) and nobody got hospitalised but they both had the symptoms, including fever and heavy breathing. It's why I'm certain the case:death count is much lower than we think.

However, an ex-gf from high school's dad had it and he died. Just saw on Facebook so not sure of the details.

It’s blowing up at my work and they still haven’t shut us down. People are starting to freak out. It was 2 confirmed cases at the start of last week and 5 by the end of it. Just got out of work now and they just announced 4 more cases. The worst thing is that they’re not allowed to say who the employees are. They said they will let the ppl know who came in contact with them privately. The problem is they consider a 15 min conversion with the person contact....

This is fuckin bullshit. I thought for sure they’d shut us down with just 1 confirmed case but no. Now we’re at 9 a week later.

The fuck do you work? I'd refuse to come to work and anonymously report that shit to the local media if they refused.

Edit: One or the other actually in case they put two and two together.

Dairy. The law forbids them from telling who the ppl are. Someone did complain and still no shutdown. This is Toronto

Yes. An aunt of mine.

My brother's office had like 3 people test positive so we cut off all contact from him for like three weeks. hes fine though.

I think I had it when it first blew up here in NYC. Thankfully, only had mild symptoms but as someone who has poor lungs from too many years of smoking, I gotta admit I was very worried.

But yeah, I don't know anyone personally who was confirmed to have had it, but like I said a lot of us had mild symptoms so...

Wife's friend. She got hospitalized. Haven't heard anything since so I assume she's fine.

I feel like we've had it already. Had the mild symptoms before this whole thing blew up. Wife has bad asthma though, so maybe not.

Pretty sure my wife and I got it on a trip to New York. She had really bad respiratory issues and wasn't breathing right for several weeks where as my symptoms were more in line with the flu.

Yes, a close relative from my mom's side contracted it and he's been around the house with his aged mother and father and it's very likely they've gotten it as well now. Pretty sad given the likely outcome.

Yes. My grandad. He caught it at the beginning of April and died on Easter Friday.
