I would say yes. It's easier with a smaller community but not impossible.

You can recognize based on their posting style alone. There's a couple people here with different usernames and avatars then they had at the previous forum I frequented(1up) and I recognized them.

I always recognize you for your Hayley Williams avatars. I also recognize Messi and JaseC because of their Olivia Wilde and Soirse Ronan avs (respectively). Also Mr. Nobody's name change won't fool me mister.
