Jerry Rice is the GOAT, but Tom Brady claims that number two or three spot behind Lawrence Taylor.
A wide receiver, as good as Rice was, has nowhere near the impact on a game as a QB. Tom Brady has been in the league 20 years and has spent half of those years in the Super Bowl. Making it to one Super Bowl is hard enough, making it to 10 is outrageous and now he’s done it with two different teams.

Ask me about my wife's perfect butthole
He's just not exciting to watch to me; pocket passers in general are Zzzz.. and a big whiny baby one just adds to that not being fun.

Much prefer someone like Patrick Mahomes who has the pocket passer skills but can also move/run when needed. If he wasn't so fucking annoying in commercials I'd be a bigger fan lol

You're absolutely correct about how a wide receiver can't have the same impact upon a game, but I'm talking about the whole picture. Tom Brady being in the league for that long isn't that impressive considering how much the NFL has changed. You could give QBs concussions and decapitate them back in the day, we can't do that anymore. As for making 10 Super Bowls, he's been in the easiest division in football for most of his career and whilst that isn't his fault, it's most definitely been to his advantage. Not to mention Bill Belichick, the Patriots defence and coaching staff, and all the fruits of New England to his benefit. He's only had to switch it on during the postseason.

I'm not a Tom Brady detractor and believe he's the best to ever play the position, but football to me has always been about contact. Give me Jerry Rice, Jim Brown and Lawrence Taylor. Though I'm sure many of the members here aren't of the same mind and are all about winning, and there's never been a better winner than TB12. He'd probably be number two or three on my all time list.

Well, it's been nothing but productive. Brady has adapted to the team, and along with Gronk, has been taking this team to way better places then they were 2 years ago.

I understand what you’re saying but for me it’s Brady. I was born in 85’ and grew up loving and playing the sport. And while the league has changed substantially it’s not like Brady was surrounded with oodles of talent in his career. The best receiver he had was Randy Moss and while he was great with New England he had a less then inspired appearance with the Raiders. Outside of that he pretty much had scrubs that he made look great or relatively good like David Patten, Wes Welker, Julian Edelman and Deion Branch. Welker is probably the only one who was pretty good and was outside of New England. Their OL constantly had turnover and then Aaron Hernandez went insane but he did have Gronk. There’s constant moving parts with that team and the one who’s made the engine turn left for Tampa Bay and New England failed to make the playoffs while Brady is, yet again, going for a ring.

I can see the argument for Brown although he was way before my time and also for Rice because he played in an era with dominant shut down corners who were allowed to actually play defense but while Rice faded at the end of his career with stints with the Raiders and the Seahawks Brady has simply kept going. At some point this will all come to and end and I’d assume we start to see the drop off next year but the only person I could genuinely put up there with Brady is Reggie White but I don’t think that’s close either.

Yes I’m bumping again. I should’ve had a date end on the poll as many voted a couple weeks ago but the few of us that voted at time of original posting know who we are. Also the flop people know who they are.

best part of it all, was my bet on Bucs last March paid off 😎

Going to be a major disappointment. Brady will never do anything with the Bucs, he only went there because he likes that the city and his name have the same initials. But TB is also short for Tuberculosis and they are going to choke so much.

Doesn't surprise me to see Tampa Bay win the Super Bowl. They were the much better team on both sides of the football, whereas that KC defence has been inconsistent the whole season.
