Do you use an mp3 player at the gym?

Basically, I'm looking for an mp3 that will hold up at the gym. Doesn't have to have huge storage capacity, doesn't have to be fancy (Just need it to play mp3s), and it certainly has to be durable. But I also sort of want it to last so I can use it for other occassions as well.

What is my best option? I would assume an Ipod mini would work wonders in this situation, but maybe you guys can tell me otherwise?

I personally wouldn't plonk down big coin for anything IPOD. I'd just go with a RIO or something inexpenisive, small and has a clip for your shorts if you're only using it for the gym.

I can't say this is the best for you, because it costs a lot and I don't only use it at the gym, but I use my ipod, and it works fine. My pants have pockets, so I put it there during weight sessions, and I can easily set it in the water bottle holder during cardio. It's worked great so far, but I'm sure there are cheaper solutions.

they call me "Man Gravy".
I use the Rio Cali. Small, simple, cheap, and easy to put on an armband to use while lifting or jogging. An iPod actually is a poor choice as it's design doesn't sit well when running / lifting.

iRiver H140 with iSkin.

Shure e2c headphones - stay firmly in your ears on the treadmill and the cable goes down your back keeping them out of your way.

Sweat does tend to get in your ears though. :lol

I have a 20 gig iPod, and a Creative Zen Xtra that I use in the GYM, going back and forth between the 2.

I gave the Creative Xtra away for Xmas, and I'm keeping the iPod, but only because of the money I have already wrapped up in it that I'll never come close to recouping if I sold it and it's a bit too much to give away.

I couldn't go back to being music-less in the GYM if I had to, long live portable musci players.

The flash based Ipod forces shuffle? that's pretty lame.

EDIT: err nevermind, why call it "Shuffle" if you can set it to user-controlled order?
