• Hey Guest. Check out your NeoGAF Wrapped 2025 results here!

do you write for or run a gaming site?

If so, what site? I used to run a couple but have been out of the game for a long time. I'm interested to see what kind of fansites are out there.

I will be contributing to http://www.omniquiti.com in the near future. The site is about to go live with it's real design and content. Should be posting to it during E3. There are plans to have tons of video from E3 and video formatted for PSP as well.

didn't I get a PM from you a few months ago asking me if I wanted to write for your website? Yeah, I think I did. Out of the game for a long time or farming for prospects? inquiring minds want to know.

I used to write for a very small website that I believe was best known as www.klavikle.com back in the day (and had a few other names as well as time went by). Very doubtful anyone here would know that site. :lol

Are they dead? I see a site, but I don't see any content!

Yeah, they're dead. I just edited my post farther up about how the current site there has no involvement with the old one. At least, I don't think it does.. :lol

Used to write for Dream Den....used to do some work for DreamcastHQ i think lol i have no clue....

DCX

Used to... Then I realized it was feeble to try and beat the deep pockets and high exposure IGN/GameSpot have, so I threw in the towel and went back to just playing games.

1up freelance now and then. crunk games isn't updated much these days, but it's there. previously wrote for the GIA, and a little gamespy freelance stuff. writing about games has largely lost me though; I really don't have any desire of doing that stuff full-time these days.

I used to write for MSN Games (and a heap of magazines and sites before that).

Quitting gave my desire for playing and enjoyment of games an immeasurable boost. I'd like to do interviews and articles still, but reviews? No thank you.

hey, what was the name of that gaming website in 1995 that first displayed a render of what the n64 controller would look like? and they pretty much nailed it too.

and pre-ign, what was the name of the psx website which would later morph into ps2.ign.com et al? i think its last incarnation was red in design?

nintelligent.net

some guy asked me to write for another site but i dunno i'm no good at reviewing, i'd rather say it sucks instead of inflating that to a 1000 word paper

haha yes, you probably did. I have no plans to go through with any sites in the near future, though. I'll let you know if I'm going to but I wouldn't count on it.

I've been trying to resurrect the ancient ant.com. Many of you visited the forums of the site during Grubdog's attack. I was under the impression that stuff I had been posting on the forum was being updated or in the process of being updated on the main site all this time. Nope.

I have my own stupid little hobby site just for fun.

I'm looking to do some more freelance stuff for Kotaku and other places.

I have one whole reader review posted at RPGfan. I went back and read it, it's soooooo long and rambling, too. Shit I should apply to work for IGN :P I was thinking about writing a review of Live A Live for RPGfan, too, eventually.

Drakken whatever did you do with those games you got from PR back on NN?

Ha, you remember me. I sent them to....I don't remember his name. I'll have to check your staff list.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure I didn't send them to anyone on the current list, so he must have left. It doesn't look like they ever got reviewed anyway...
