First I've heard of this:

Natasshia Malthe, who plays nemesis Typhoid Mary in this Friday's Elektra, has been cast in the feature adaptation of Tecmo's bestselling game franchise DOA: Dead or Alive, reports Production Weekly.

Hong Kong helmer Corey Yuen (The Transporter) will direct for Impact Pictures. The script was written by J.F. Lawton (Under Siege, Pretty Woman). Production is scheduled to begin this spring in China.

The movie centers on four female fighters in a competition to the death on an exotic island.

The movie will be all T&A.
It better be, since it has the worst plot of any fighting game series, ever. Actually, "plot" is too strong a word.

So, make it porn. Everyone wins.

"Um, sounds strangely familiar."

Old news. It was released under a different name in my country, and while i wouldn't call the scenes tear-jerking, i, well, went through a box of tissues after multiple viewings.

After a quick google, I can't imagine who Natassia Malthe is going to play in the movie :?

I would expect the movie to either have nothing to do with the game other than babes-n-boobs, or they will go the ultra-cheesy route and cast American actors in the roles of most of the Japanese characters.

Well seeing as Japan has the pinnacle of Big breasted, wide eyed (no offense), non-asian looking CG fighters.......

Of course it'll most likely be American girls, you actually think Japanese people look like the video game characters they always create?
