Does anyone actually spend 20-30 seconds washing their hands?

Yes my hands would always get dry as hel! and would open a lot of cuts since they were so dry. Started using lotion and they're usually fine now. Never fukk around with washing hands.

Back when I worked in a clean room I did, but not in my personal life. I do wash my hands often, though. And I get that soap lathered up as hell.

What bugs me is people who put soap on their dry hands, then put their hands under a running stream of water and start scraping their palms together. That shit is doing nothing. 80% of the soap just flushed away before you even started the palm fucking.

Only if I'm going to be eating something with my hands, such as a sandwich. Same goes for preparing any food, so thoroughly before meals.

I have OCD, so I wash them thoroughly and over... And over... And OVER again. It’s annoying and in the colder months, my hands crack, get dried out, and bleed. It sucks ass, I tells ya.

Although I always washed my hands when necessary before, I didn't really consider it prior to covid.

Now I make sure I get two pumps from the hand-wash and go to town on my hands.

At this rate though, I'll have 70 year old hands before I hit 35.

It’s good to always use the toilet bowl when there’s shit still in it. Gives you an extra sense of freshness, yo.

Just think of all that healthy bacteria. You might as well be rubbing your face in yogurt!

Not 30 seconds. Honestly I don't wash my hands at all half the time. I have been confronted about it, next time it happens I'm gonna ask the guy doing the confronting if he wants to throwdown. In a work setting I will wash my hands every time if there is anyone else in the bathroom to see whether or not I did it, but other than that I don't think there is a point.

You are crawling with thousands of germs all the time. Any anti-bacterial stuff you do is only good for a short period of time as far as the question of getting sick goes. If you haven't been performing surgery, your genitals are clean, and you aren't handling your genitals heavily (I can pee without ever directly touching my penis but instead simply manipulating my pants and underwear) then your hands shouldn't smell nor should they have been contaminated more than they are all the time during the peeing process.

Dozens of times a day at work, yes.

That's really the only way soap even works. Otherwise you might as well just skip it.

If I'm about to do anything with food or dishes then yes, especially after handling raw chicken. I'm paranoid about my sinks, counters and kitty litter too.

I wash them so my hands don't stink, so they don't become sticky, basic hygiene really, so anytime I touch something that changes the texture/feel/nature of my hands.

Also despite your body being host to millions of bacteria, those live in harmony in your normal healthy body. The same can not be said for foreign bacteria, so you should definitely wash after poop, touching animals that aren't your pets, in any lab environment, or the fucking public toilet, that place is a shithole.

Honestly I judge people who don't wash in a public toilet, heck even a one second rinse would alleviate my disgust.
