I mean, considering all the free sites with preview material (clips/pics etc), as well as the numerous avenues for redistributing the content of pay sites for free, combined with the relatively short time frame required for male self-gratification, I'm left wondering who the hell actually pays for these premium porn site memberships.

All these preview sites I go to say, "Why are you jacking off to 20 second clips? Sign up now!!", when really all I need are a handful of 20 second clips to get me through the day. Fantasies are fleeting, and I don't want to imagine that I'm fucking some cumslut for hours at a time (even though the Staminator is known for going the distance), because I'd more than likely start to feel like a dirty loser after about 15 minutes. I've known people who subscribe to these porn sites and I know people who archive considerable amounts of porn on hard disk, DVD, etc. Some people just like watching it. Like the idea of having a complete movie and don't want to search for quality stuff. I've sat with them, chatted with them, etc.

Personally I'd rather just hit a strip club rather than watch porn on a computer, but hey - to each his/her own.

I'm not a regular subscriber, but occaisionally you'll come across a particular girl, theme, or site that particularly sparks your interest and it's worth paying for a single month just to grab all the content you like. So many places have the $3.99 2-day trial anyway, so you can just cough up a couple bucks and grab everything you want in a short span of time.

I've always viewed strip clubs as paying for blueballs. Basically you're getting all of the temptation, minus the gratification (assuming you don't pay for a champagne room BJ etc), at a steep price. All the ones I have been to are nasty, but not in that way, the nastiness lies in the Old regular men paying top dollar for all the attention and paying lots of attention to the girls. Heh, anyone here knocking strip clubs for anything but price has never been to a Deja Vu, or atl east never been to a NICE DejaVu. They've got bouncers regularly checking the bathrooms, first off, and have no problem bringing cops in to haul someones ass out if theres a girl getting groped or something. The girls are generally almost always scorchin' (the one in Lansing employed the Showgirl of the year a few years back... looked exactly like Jamie Pressley), and it's bottomless drinks. The most I've ever paid to get in is 10 bucks... and you almost always get bottomless drinks (non alcohol... michigan doesn't allow alcohol at fully nude strip clubs).

Now, I have been to one strip club in Toronto, the Zanzibar, and it fucking sucked. It was like 9 dollars for a drink, 20 dollars for a lapdance, and it wasn't even fully nude. The seating sucked (TOTALLY crammed)... just a laundry list of bad shit.

I actualyl got up and left after one lapdance, cuz there was an arcade a couple blocks down the street that actually had an arcade version of Beatmania. That was a FAR better way to spend my money.

This reminds me of a funny story - friend of mine who ordered porn (he claimed it was for his friend, but somehow I doubt it) now gets a ton of junk mail from the Church of Scientology.
