Does anyone here just sleep in their clothes?

I'm not talking pajamas and such, what you would normally wear out and about.

Just curious.

Mandatory LiveJournal-esque Backstory: I've been sleeping in my clothes a lot lately. Maybe it's becuase of the super-erratic sleep schedule I've been operating under, but I'm actually starting to dig the whole thing and my ability to be (somewhat mostly) ready for the day from when I wake up, with any required clothing changes occuring after a shower. It's also nice to always have my cell phone on me, in case of emergencies or oversleepage (I refuse to use an actual ringer for my cell phone, partially out of a stubborness, partially because I can't find a ringer I like and can consistently hear [I'm usually surrounded by very loud music] and partially because I don't feel like mucking about with the phone every time I'm in a different situation).

I don't mind it but I don't do it either. It's sort of uncomfortable and makes clothes smelly. I guess I don't really wear clothes two days in a row anyway, but it only takes a second to take them off.

Sometimes I sleep in my clothes. But I have a weird sleep schedule most of the time so I sleep for two hours at a time during the day. But if I go to bed at night, all clothes are off!

No. Unless I'm incredibly lazy/too tired (which I usually avoid when I become sleepy), I change into some PJs.

And you keep the ones you've slept with on the next day?
That's fucking lazy, stupid, and just gross. How fucking difficult is it to change? And whats the point, if you're showering in the morning? Or I take it showering defeats the purpose.. but that would mean you also haven't showered the night before since you slept in your clothes.
Anyway I digress.

I usually wear the same shirt i wore during the day, then retire it when i go to take a shower. Down there its boxers so no problems.

In winter i seem to be cordinated with what i wear.

most of the time I sleep in a t-shirt and sweat pants... which is what I happen to wear most of the day at home too.

Rarely though I end up sleeping in jeans or buttoned shirts, as I'd have to dead tired while lying in bed.

The only time I've done this is when I had been up all of the night before, was dead tired and knew that I had to wake up REALLY early the next morning. As soon as I finished what I had to do the next day though, I rushed back home, took off all of my clothes and just crashed in bed to get some much needed sleep. I don't think that I could have survived the next day if I hadn't of taken a shower and changed into some new clothes.

Personally, I don't really like the idea of living in the same clothes day after day out of laziness, because it is kind of... well, gross. I mean, just think about it: after going through a whole day of sweating and doing all of the other things you do in those clothes, you're going to sleep in them (which means getting them even more sweaty/smelly) and then wake up and go through a whole new day exactly like that. Your clothes are going to be like 2x more dirty than they normally are; not to mention they will be very wrinkly and reflect in both smell and appearance just how unclean you are. I don't even want to think about how often you're showering with a lifestyle like that...

If you're lazy, then just take a shower and wash your clothes the night before and leave them out for when you wake up in the morning. Then you'll just have to wash your face, brush your teeth, get your clothes on before catching breakfast and going out the door. If you're worried about having your cellphone and other items close at hand, then get a night stand to keep them on close to your bed. The more that you wash your clothes and shower, the happier your girlfriend will be -- trust me. :lol

Sounds like you're leading a really hectic life right now. I hope that school, work or whatever it is that's eating up so much of your time and energy will let up on you a bit. Everyone deserves a good night's sleep without having to stress about something like getting dressed in the morning. Eep...

Wow, it's like you wrote your dissertation about sleeping in clothes. I like my posts short and simple; sarcastic one liners and single anecdotal paragraphs are the name of the game.

Living in Japan and sleeping in a futon I do since washing a futon is pretty impossible. But back in the states in a bed, I don't.

I can sleep in pretty much anything. But having said that unless I'm completely fucking dead tired I'll at least try to sleep in boxers if not PJs. The problem with sleeping with normal clothes is that when you wake up, you feel like complete and utter shit. It's just terrible and I hate it. :(

It depends how hot it is. Right now it's summer so only boxers (unless it's reallt hot and than I'm nude :p)
Sometimes I'm so tired I sleep in my cloth, but I'll always wake up about 1-2 hours later sweating in places I didn't know I can, bad taste in my moth and a major headache. Same with PJs... I can't seem to get a good night sleep with more than minimal wear.

Sorry. =\ I had no idea how big that post was until after it was posted. LOL...

I would bang a hot farmer!
I sleep in my boxers when it's hot and pyjamas when it's cold.

I sleep totally nude; I find it impossible to sleep with any clothes on including boxers or briefs.

Really, I find it impossible to sleep nude. Well, ok, maybe if I try hard. But it's very umcomfortable not to have anything covering you're weener and ass while you sleep.

I only sleep with my clothes on when I'm too lazy to take them off! Haha, makes sense, eh?

I never sleep with anything on. I find clothes while trying to sleep just constricting and I like to feel slightly cold with any heat coming from being covered by a duvet.

Homeless people sleep in their clothes. Change out of them for crying out loud.

Sleeping with nothing on is another matter though..

Well you can use a duvet to cover yourself :p Sleeping with clothes on is impossible for me; I even walk around the house nude during the day when no one is around :lol

I can't sleep nude and I can't sleep with anything with "legs" like pants or even PJs. I usually just take off the shoes sock and pants in one motion. so boxers and whatever t-shirt or undershirt I was wearing that day....all to be changed in the morning of course.

If it's seriously cold, I'll get into bed with some or all of my clothes and gradually take them off. If there are any left on me by the morning, I change into a fresh pair of everything.

Only if I pass out. Usually it's just a pair of boxers (and my socks if I wore them that day). Nothing if I'm with my girl.
