Does anyone know of a program that i can use to extract sounds off of a DVD?

Use DVD Decrypter to rip it to your HD, use VirtualDub MPEG2 to open it, select the portion you want, and capture it to a WAV or whatever.

Finally bought a new PSP, but then pushed the demon onto someone else. Jesus.
Just do the left/right analog output out of the DVD player into a line-in on your computer/sound card.

This worked for me, but instead of a PC, the receiving device was a MD player.

The one time that I did it, I used a program called Total Recorder. I needed it so I could get the awesome guitar intro from "God Gave Rock 'n Roll to You" in Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, because I couldn't find that version on cd anywhere.

That'll work, but the ripped audio will be of higher quality if it's just ripped digitially from the DVD image. If quality isn't terrible important, go for it. Oh, and sorry I didn't notice the 'mac' mention initially.

yeah.. that going to be my backup plan if i cant find a program..
