Whenever i watch any interview with him and the name Beatles comes up, he acts like he was the damn Beatles. Pisses me off. John was the Beatles

To a certain extent that's probably true. Nothing like an early death to increase one's fame (James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, etc.) It never ceases to amaze me how Lennon's fans overrate him so. Admittedly, it's hard to overrate someone like him, but many of his fans find a way to do it. They seem to be under the impression that he was a god or some philosophical genius. He was neither, just a great songwriter. Unfortunetly, being a great songwriter isn't enough for some segments.

If Lennon really was the Beatles, then he would have been solo all along. His ego was big enough, that he would have left the Beatles alot earlier or never been in the group, if that was so. Not that ego was only Lennon's problem. McCartney was/is certainly a match for him in that area.

Obviously McCartney has some issues that he should get over (like changing all song credits on his albums from Lennon/McCartney to McCartney/Lennon). But heck, both of them were such babies for so many years, it's hard to fault one over the other.

Look at some of the things Paul has done and said about Yoko Ono over the years, you'd think he'd shut the f**k up already.

Yoko Ono wasn't responsible for the break up, Paul was as he bought more shares in the Beatles behind Johns back when they had both promised each other to be equal partners.

Paul at the time also sued the rest of the band members to boost his ego yet again

Oh and John was indeed a philosophical genius, dont let anybody tell you other wise

Well, if he's acting like he represents the Beatles or anything, it's probably because it's just him and Ringo left, and you can pretty much guess which one's still in the spotlight.
