That's code for "You're actually buying a trafficked Chinese kid that's being passed around". You just DM the seller for more detailed pictures instead of the stock image used.

It's probably because of the eBay selling limits.

"We'll review your account every month and adjust the limits automatically based on your sales volume and the feedback you've received from buyers. Remember, your active and sold listings count toward your monthly limit. "

People don’t wanna remove and relist items constantly, especially when they have so many. When out of stock they will put price as something stupid then fix it when they have more supply.

If you search all their sold items none of the stupid price stuff has old, so it’s safe to say it’s not an obvious scheme for money laundering,

This is a very reasonable assessment.

I think it also helps to maintain their visibility with that listing normally. Or something like that.

There was a time I bought Virtua athelete on dreamcast from a big seller. I Quickly realised I already had that game and it was Sydney 2000 I needed. I messaged him and he said he had Sydney so would swap them over for me (both the same price). He changed his Sydney listing to £1234 so no one would buy it. Then when he had time, he just edited the existing Sydney listing to be for V Athlete and fixed the price. Was about a week later.

Probably send a young boy along with the cable. Male to male connection - they aren't even being subtle.
