Dog hates Fireworks

Hey ya'll, anyone found or know a good solution for a dog whose absolutely terrified of fireworks? Every year I've tried the calming tablets, fans, music, physically covering his ears, only for him to pant and shake uncontrollably. Thank you for reading.

Draw your curtains and maybe play some music or turn up the TV.

Paws traumatic stress disorder. He might feel the fireworks in his bones so drowning out the sound might not help.

My oldest girl is a pretty nervous dog. I usually just give her some calming marijuana treats and cuddle with her when she gets really scared.

Although I haven't seen fireworks or thunderstorms make her go crazy or anything similar.

Never thought of that. May do some research on it. Thanks.

These are the ones that I buy her and they seem to work pretty well. You can find them at Pet Smart.

However too much will just stone her.

My dog gets pretty scared during a thunderstorm. She likes to go into our walk in closet where there's no windows to hide. I go and sit with her to keep her company and calm her nerves.
I'm gonna look for those hemp chews next time I'm at Pet Smart.

Thunder, gunshots won't phase him. Fireworks and Battlefield 3 menu music send him in a fuss.

Move somewhere further South , preferably rural, where you hear gunshots every evening after people get off work. They’ll learn to not care.
Works for these cats at least!

I haven’t had dogs that were scared of them. Separation anxiety tho, that’s been an issue. Dog cbd worked but somethings they just will always be skittish of.

While mine doesn't care some dogs are terrified. I had one who came to hide everytime. He looked so scared. I also hate fireworks and find them disturbing. It's a low form of entertainment for retards.

Just be there for them until it passes.

This is what I've done since my dog was a puppy. Wherever she went to get away from the noise I go there too. Sit on the floor with her, stroke her and talk to her. She was never super scared of fireworks but she didn't like the noise. This approach might not work with an older dog that's not been treated this way from the start though.

Half a block from me some people let off a professional show. It was about 5 minutes of pro grade shit.

My daughters cat who sometimes hangs just outside takes off. It never goes anywhere. I chased it down because she was crying. The show was over way before I got back.

I was pretty mad and felt like knocking those fucks out. Another guy on our street apparently did run down there and lut an end to it because he has an infant child that freaked out. I was told he went down there threatening to beat everyones ass lol.

Can You Imagine What SureAI Is Going To Do With Garfield?
My dog is a dachshund and surprisingly calm. There's fireworks going on literally all around me and I could take her for a walk and she'd be excited about it.
