Matt Osborne, who played Doink the Clown on WWF TV in the 1990s, died from a lethal combination of morphine and hydrocodone, according to the medical examiner who examined Osborne's body.
TMZ reports that the autopsy report indicates "high levels of the opiates morphine and hydrocodone" in Osborne's system at the time of his death on June 28 in Texas.
The medical examiner concluded in the autopsy: "I am of the opinion that [Osborne], a 55-year-old white man, died as a result of toxic effects of opiates."
The ME also discovered that Osborne had heart disease, which the ME believes was a "significant and contributory" to Osborne's death.
