"The RNC has not been supportive. They were always supportive when I was a contributor. I was their fair-haired boy," Trump said in the interview. "The RNC has been, I think, very foolish."

"I'll have to see how I'm being treated by the Republicans," Trump said, when asked if he would make an independent run. "Absolutely, if they're not fair, that would be a factor."

Republicans don't have a choice, they have to push him out. The primaries and all this foolishness is one thing, but if Trump wins and they stick with him, Hilary is going to win in one of the biggest landslide victories in US history.

This is like the perfect storm for democrats. He would siphon so many of the "telling it like it is" crowd while driving certain demographics away from the republicans by just being associated with the party.
 
You know, those rumors about him being a secret Democratic plant aren't sounding quite as far-fetched anymore...

Kidding. He's just a total ego-maniac who now thinks he has an honest shot when anybody with even half a brain knows that his numbers are soft and he has no chance in a general.

I am turgid at the thought.

Since he brags about his Twitter account at basically every appearance (paraphrase: "I have millions of followers; it's like having a news network in my pocket!"), we need #RunTrumpRun to trend worldwide for a week. That'll get to him.
 
Seriously. If he runs, it kills every argument Clinton backers have against Sanders. Sanders definitely wins in a Trump - Bush - Sanders configuration.
 
The problem for the GOP is that their base likes Trump and what he is saying.

They have to hope Trump exits the race of his own volition, because forcing him out will make the conservative base livid.
 
God yes. Donald runs as third party, and people will suddenly take a second look at Bernie and think that maybe he can win after all now.

Every time I hear more about Trump, the less likely I think he is to get the nomination, but the (Republican) polls keep favoring him... we'll see if this is actual smoke or if this is the beginning of the GOP's downfall.
 
Yeah I'm convinced, this entire campaign exists to sabotage the GOP and split it in two/destroy the public opinion.

The initial turn tail seemed very odd that and fact he's already left the party before, he's not acting like someone who has any wishes to be president, or help the republican party remotely. He just wants to see it burn.

I thought he was a great communicator. His use of charts and graphics was smart - not all voters respond to verbal-only appeals. And I'm a bit shocked that we don't see more candidate infomercials, to be honest.

Hope he does. He'll be sabotaging the Republican candidate. Even if he only siphoned 1% of that candidate's voters that's more than a party can afford in our current system.
 
I'm almost in tears. I've supported Trump's run since day one, and now it's paying off.
#Trump2016. He'll go down in the history books for helping create a better America.
