Fucking Donkey Kong for free?
Sign me the fuck up!
If the Xenoblade trilogy gets Switch 2 upgrades (Especially 2), that news alone would justify my Switch 2 purchase. I'm pretty easy to please. Everything else after, new games and upgrades alike is considered a bonus for me.At this rate, we'll get updates to Xenoblade Chronicles…

This news is huge! We need like 5 more thread bruh. This was the first one that popped up for me.Already a thread for this.
I really wish they got more of these out faster.
Seriously this. Xenoblade 2 needs an update the most and I've been wanting to replay it but I keep waiting for an update. I'm sure we'll get one.. eventually..If the Xenoblade trilogy gets Switch 2 upgrades (Especially 2), that news alone would justify my Switch 2 purchase. I'm pretty easy to please. I did this in reverse and I wouldn't recommend it lolIf the Xenoblade trilogy gets Switch 2 upgrades (Especially 2), that news alone would justify my Switch 2 purchase. I'm pretty easy to please. Everything else after, new games and upgrades alike is considered a bonus for me.
It gives me more incentive to Buy it down the line3rd version of the game sold for full price. I guess even Nintendo buckled on charging for this one. Nice bonus though for people who got it.
Yeah no thanks. Keep the Switch updates coming. This is cool and I'm glad Nintendo is putting in the effort to update these games. However, I'd rather they put any extra resources towards adding more retro games to Nintendo Switch Online and improving the emulation.
They all need that update desperately.Seriously this. Xenoblade 2 needs an update the most and I've been wanting to replay it but I keep waiting for an update. I'm sure we'll get one.. eventually..
Don't forget X. I bought X knowing full well I was going to hold off playing it until Switch 2 came out. I mean, people found the 60 fps code right away, so it was ready to go, right? 10 months later, and it's still in the factory wrapping. If the Xenoblade trilogy gets Switch 2 upgrades (Especially 2), that news alone would justify my Switch 2 purchase. This guy gets itYeah no thanks. Keep the Switch updates coming.
Donkey Kong released in January 2025 and the Swtich 2 update was announced in January 2026, so we can hope they will announce a patch in MarchAnd now, we wait for Xeno X.
I put my playthrough of X on hiatus until that patch happens. I was having a lot of fun, too.If the Xenoblade trilogy gets Switch 2 upgrades (Especially 2), that news alone would justify my Switch 2 purchase. I'm pretty easy to please. I think I'll finally do the same!I'll definitely give this a go. Gorgeous game.
The upgrades are pretty much the main reason i bought a Switch 2 Day 1. BotW is glorious in 60fps. Super Mario 3D World and Odyssey look great in a higher resolution. These upgrades of Switch to Switch2 games is actually what I hoped for the most (besides BC obv.). I'm still playing Zelda BotW since I got the Switch2 over a month ago, perfect game after the Switch2 upgrade. I hope all the first party games get upgrades for the Switch2. Should be a big incentive to upgrade. I got (almost) all the Switch first party exclusives, so keep them coming.
Me tooI'm so glad I didn't play the game
Sometimes you have to, if you hear knocking on the door. You can't rush Love, Robb.
You walked so we can all run.FFS just my luck, I literally just finished this last week and have moved onto Tropical Freeze which typically has no update.![]()
