If only they actually had good music, the game would be so, so great. As it is now, the game is merely pretty good and held back by its thoroughly embarrassing soundtrack. I know, I know... "E" for everyone, but fuck.

You guys got videogame based music? Fucking lucky. We get nothing but pop crap.

I was gonna get DKa2 until I found out there was no videogame based music, thats why I got the first one.

This weekend Game Crazy had a DK2 tournament. I hadn't played the game yet (only DK1) so I went in expecting something similar. boy was I surprised. The rolling barrels have a slight "top" to them, so it made my astigmatism go crazy and it was hard to look at for the duration of the song. but that is only my minor complaint; my major complaint is the rock-paper-scissors thing.

What was Nintendo thinking? "We have a great multi-player game let's make it so that a player can kick ass throughout the entire song, and then punish him for doing well! Yeah, that sounds great!" Fucking-a, I had the guy I was competing against beat by about 9000 points, but then I lost the R-P-S thing and he got about 9400 points from it. I was so pissed...why did they turn a game of skill into a game of chance? This is the exact reason I started to hate Super Monkey Ball 2. I am so not buying DK2 now.

At least the PAL version actually has some video game music. Fuck the American release and its Good Charlotte-ridden tracks of crap.

The US version of Donkey Konga 2 is rated Teen.....

Oh, for some reason I thought the PAL version was rated the equivalent of "E" for everyone. I don't know why.

Well, even more embarrasing for the music then... :P

Looking at #4, I'm still so jealous you guys got videogame music. What the fuck was Nintendo thinking not giving the US any? It's like they don't know their audience at all.
