I've been leark'n some NES Top loaders for days now, and as always some low feedback fool keeps bidding way to frick'n early raising the prices on gaming items.

I've been leark'n this Top Loader for a week( http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8159700419&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT ).

Ebay sniping is an illusion. Bid the maximum you're willing to pay for it. If someone outbids you you can't bitch because they paid more than you were willing to pay.

That console has issues, and NO Dog-bone controllers.

"THIS IS A USED NES TOP LOADING SYSTEM THESE ARE GETTING HARDER TO COME BY. COMES WITH ONE CONTROL AND ALL HOOK UPS. ALSO COMES WITH MARIO DUCK HUNT&WIZZARDS AND WARRIORS. THIS SYSTEM WORKS BUT YOU CAN SEE REAL FAINT LINES ON THE SCREEN WHEN YOU PLAY SOME GAMES. I THINK IT NEEDS TO BE CLEANED. IT IS USED AND BEING SOLD AS IS. DONT MISS OUT ON THIS RARE CLASSIC! THANKS FOR LOOKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "

SOLD AS-IS

The dog-bone controller is expensive crap anyway.

Hold on, I'm check'n that NEOfam thing out now.

$50+13.50 s/h + $10 for converter

Same price as Top Loader :|

Though I see your point, it's new hardware, not someones leftovers.

The lines on the screen is a typical problem with top-loaders. Not to mention you lose composite output with a top-loader. Why do you want a top-loader in particular? To avoid the blinking screen? :) Just install a new connector into one of the old-style NES, you can find the connectors dirt cheap (under $10). And you can buy new dog-bones from Nintendo, although they cost about $15 IIRC. Still, I'd rather have a brand new pad than one that's been through who knows how many grimy hands :lol

Not true. If you don't bid early, others won't know you're watching the auction. This results in fewer counterbids and lower end prices. Sniping works.

As PC Gaijin noted, American top loaders suck. They're expensive, display flawed graphics, and are restricted to RF output. Why are they wanted again? Because people don't know better. Go for a NeoFami or better yet an authentic A/V Famicom. I just got one of the latter and it seems great.
