I ordered two games recently from EBgames and both are currently in 'Shipped' status. Both were ordered on the same time, with about a 15 minute difference, so they were on separate orders.

One is being shipped through UPS, and the other is being shipped through Fedex. On the tracking site for UPS, the damn thing still hasn't arrived at their central station here in Lexington. But on Fedex's tracking site, the thing has already arrived and is out for delivery this very morning.

BAM! Fedex never fails to get me my stuff on time. Seems like UPS just can't compete, maybe they should drop out and make room for the REAL delivery service.

They had a tendency to ship my orders from CA to NY in 2 days, 3 max. UPS extends this to 5 days. Even the people I spoke with at the UPS warehouse complained about Fedex's extra resources. How is this possible?

Edit: And their facilities look like brown ghetto housing.

Yeah I just got a package from FedEx today, and it was due in TOMORROW. FedEx does kick some ass.

UPS is teh suk! FedEx is THE best if you want something delivered on time. UPS always screws up, is slow, and tends to be incompentent. That being said if UPS used drivers like the lady above I would always use UPS and I would often ship things to myself.

Those look like flattened and/or empty boxes. And I agree with this thread: So far, FedEx has never burned me. UPS can go sink to the lowest depths of hell, though. I'm just about fed up with their bullshit.

I remember years ago a friend (at the time) got a job at UPS. During Xmas, his apartment started filling up with all kinds of shit... a huge TV, mosnter stereo, tons of game systems, etc. I figured he was just making good money. No, it was just shit that he fucking swiped from transit. And no, not necessarily stuff from mail order companies. He though it was weird how I thought it was so fucked up.

I've had the opposite experience as most of you. I work for a small business, and FedEx has routinely lost, delivered late, and left on our doorstep despite needing a signature endless packages. We now will only use them for overseas. UPS has been fine and reliable though I believe everyone's horror stories.

But DHL is worse than either one.

I used to work for UPS. They are the cheapest motherfuckers ever, I had to use equipment that was issued before I was even born.

Oh yeah, and you know when you track a package, and it shows as arriving in your hub, before getting sent somewhere else? My bad.
