I think it's safe to say short of the lineup imploding or everyone inexplicably being struck with a motor neuron disease, 2nd at TI2 and showing up for big events is probably enough to warrant the inclusion. EG isn't a bad team by any means, but they're one of the more inconsistent teams in the present.

Nah, for a couple of reasons:
- I'll be the first to say that Na'Vi is a shadow of the team it once was, but it hasn't fallen into some shadowy nether zone where international invites bounce in the mail.
- Puppey is a gamesman and a cunt, and seemingly doesn't have the sense to hide these qualities. Dendi isn't enough to balance out shitty elvis.

The taunts are awful. They last 3s and you can't use them in a game unless you want to die.
Surprise they didn't add 0.1s of invulnerability or 1hp/s regen orsomething.
If everything was purchasable it would severely hurt the allure of the items in general. There would be no mystique about particular items or unusual properties (the latter of course not being hindered if you only had the 'base' items purchasable). Plus, everything not being purchasable right away helps drive the want for that item when it is purchasable.
That, and well, keys.
If there's one thing to like about Na'Vi in all this, it's their idiot bandwagoners who give lopsided betting payouts.

Yeah it is a bit shitty. On the promise of an evolving item(s) and a HUD we bought the compendium and we've still yet to recieve anything bar the bundled courier and bonus.
