I don't know why he keeps blowing his mana on long jumps into the middle of a team fight. Yes there is a nice aoe burst but he is always left with nothing afterwards and easily gets blown up. That is like the most rookie storm move and he does it in pubs as well as pro matches.

yup I'm all in for FFXV, got that deluxe edition preordered.
The last game I preordered was SFV but cancelled due to bad press. Game still turned out great when I got it for 20 bucks from some shady cd key site around Evo.
The only other game I preordered before that was FFXIII. That turned out meh.
I guess I'm part of the problem.

Wow IceFrog really does not like (greedy) support PA. 525 range on level 1 dagger is really short.
I didn't know Return was not supposed to work on Illusions. I guess Dispersion doesn't work on Illusions either, so that's fair?
Why is IceFrog so worried about straight up nerfing Omni that he feels like he has to massage the numbers to give some benefit to Omni? (1s longer Repel at level 1, reduced cast time on Purification). That said it's still overall a pretty significant nerf (really short range on both Repel and Purification now)
Overall another across the board straight up numbers nerf mini-patch, which is good for long term health of game with regards to power creep. Probably still going to wait till 6.89 before jumping back in seriously though.

Fighting the power creep is nice in itself. ( and at that pace I might no longer try to ban omni every game )
But when it's only that, it's... really incredibly boring. Hope 6.89 will be crazy with the item, rework or even map change. And Aghanim's Scepter, after 6.88 ( Zzzzzzz ) I even miss the random most of the time useless agh in a change log.

I've probably seen more Bat nerfs since I started playing this game in 2013 than any other 2 heroes combined. Most of them have seemed super crippling (go look up how busted lasso was in 2013) yet that hero has always found his way into the meta. The flamebreak nerf is big but in the grand scheme of that hero's viability, it's a pretty minor thing tbh. Lasso and Eul's still interrupt a TP, he just can't do it from halfway across the map anymore. I'm not sure it's possible to nerf Bat enough that he won't be picked for lasso alone.

Agree with this. Some of these nerfs seem a little harsh but oh well. PA and Omni are overly prevalent in my games so I don't mind. Omni is not even fun but people prefer miserable, sleep-inducing 45min over losing on some fun hero.
The PA nerf is very nice because a stick becomes even better against her in lane as she won't be able to spam the dagger out of your vision as regularly.
I actually really enjoy playing him, as long as my carry is brave.

Had this match today where we held off mega creeps for 30 minutes till the enemy team gave up and left. https://www.opendota.com/matches/2717898618
Shit was so stressful. good thing we had a treant to heal up the ancient and I convinced the specter to get a rapier asap which won us important team fights.
Then I got aghs on lion and blew the shit out of the megas. felt great!
near the end when we were hitting their ancients, the megas reached our base and our entire team just instantly panic tped back to defend lol would have uninstalled dota forever if we lost by creeps backdooring like that.

To be honest I liked the idea of PA support ( thought I never saw or played one, I just like when a hero can have more than 1 role, most of my alchemist, naga, morph or mirana game were played as a sup ), so it's not specifically the nerf I would choose, but I guess it's really not a bad nerf in itself.

Most heroes are fun to be honest. I enjoy initiators and carries the most I guess. Defensive supps are insufferably boring most of the time, although I play Shadow Demon once in a while.

Playing Sniper in a game without gap closing enemy heroes turns Dota into a 10/10 game at an instant.
Are those list about playing those hero, or them being fun/unfun to have in a game ?
Because god I hate playing against am, elusive carry are just a pain in the ass to deal with in pub.
Wraith King is one of the secret most fun hero to play, but it really need to be last pick.
edit : every split pusher and invi hero is part of my Least fun heroes to play against, with tinker in the top 3 for sure.
