A CIS team is going to the major, entertainment guaranteed!

I had thought Secret and VP would get through based on current form, so I'm not surprised by Liquid not making it. To have both Secret and Liquid not making it however, is quite something.

Just realized that rosters unlock right after the Boston Major is over in December.

Can definitely see several teams shuffling again to make it work till TI, (Liquid, Alliance, Navi, Secret) plus whoever does fucking horrible in Boston.

im so tired of constant dota roster shuffles. Maybe teams aren't losing cause they have the wrong players, but because they have fuck all for synergy.

It's a double-edged sword. If you play with someone too long you get synergy but also toxic. You need that sweet honeymoon time where someones jokes and habits are cute.

idk, csgo and league teams manage to stay more stable without issue. Honestly maybe dota players are just all dickheads.

unrelated, NA crushing BR right now in sao paulo

Agreed, no matter what goes on behind the scenes, it is frustrating to see thinks like EG kicking a player after winning TI5, or DC kicking Moo after winning second place in TI6. That last one in particular rubs me the wrong way because of this mindset of "We didn't get first place, our players are defective!" It's one thing if it was Secret's joke of a performance in TI6, but winning first or second place and declaring your roster needs a shuffle, ruling out anything else as a factor seems silly. I realize we don't see everything behind the scenes, but it really feels like cutting off their nose despite their face.

TI is just too much pressure, if you lose like Liquid and OG did you feel like you have to make changes even if they're for the worse. you dont even know if you'll get an invite to the next major unless you do well on the next LAN compared to CSGO where the top 8 are automatically invited

I don't know, I feel like teams stayed together throughout the year last season for the most part barring EG - Secret.

I do think though that if Valve was more open about the invite system, maybe established some kind of point system throughout the season ( or top 8 gets auto invite to next major/TI), invited more teams and didn't make the 1st place so top heavy (I guess this is only really TI) I think you might see more teams sticking together for longer than a year.

Or maybe NormalFish is right and DOTA players are just dickheads.

Oh the animals in the cages are rescues. They can't survive in the wild for some reason or other.
