to be fair, most teams that reshuffled after this year's ti have been underwhelming

idk have soft spot for getting true "Global" representation at Dota events.

They don't deserve it either. They are very weak

I agree, I bet anyone from the european qualifier would've rather done open qualifier on America than go through there.

I bet secret would've qualified for the major if they had chosen opens in america. O well gl to complexity.

I bet they are really regretting dropping their DreamLeague invite.

Now they will not have any paydays until January if they decide to stay together.

2016-10-19 1st Major FACEIT Invitational 2 : 0 Vega Squadron $10,000
2016-10-01 4th Premier MarsTV Dota 2 League 2016 Autumn 0 : 2 OG $18,750

$28.8k since TI6

Maybe they should try and join ROG Masters

On a related topic: yeah I think rejecting the Dreamleague Invite was a mistake for secret. As OG showed last year, just grinding out a shite ton of games is a great way for you to build team rapport/work out the kinks in teamwork before the really important games. I hope NP takes this to heart, keeps grinding out games and goes on to win Boston

They would be a great replacement for Liquid at Northern Beat.

I mean, all the EU teams that tried to go to the US open qualifiers got knocked out in the end. And if you were invited to the qualifiers like Secret, would you really want to give that up and go through open qualifiers in the US, where you risk bad ping and getting knocked out in the Best of 1 rounds by some cheesy strat? Secret also wrecked the round robin stages, but just unfortunately couldn't close it out in the elimination rounds.

Fat Hawaiian shirt man was under the impression LGD were the best team in China. I've honestly forgotten his name.

lyrical apparently

he said that the have the most talent and have the potential to be the best team. he's 50/50 right, they have some good players but no proper leader like xiao8.

Feels like 3-4 of those guys would have visa problems entering the USA, especially when Emperor Trump comes to power.

No China cybers allowed

Looking at their results on Liquidpedia, just from the start of this year to now, I feel any T2 team/org would be happy with those results including the half a million earned or so.

There's probably a lot of expectations on them to actually show up for Valve tournaments and perform if they get there.

LiQuid!

I proudly and openly admit to wishing death upon the mothers of people I don't like
Honestly it's about time. Been too long coming. So many veteran players have been mixing fresh talent onto their rosters in order to stay relevant, it's about time a new crop of kids comes up and just straight up starts bumping off old top tier teams. How rad must that be for a team like AF that all came up together and finally qualified for a huge LAN like that? I hope they do well and become Alliance 2.0.

I mean, the region talks lots of shit when they only managed to get to a TI final in the last 3 years thanks to siractionslacks being on their team.

Yeah TI 5 was won by EG, from the NA region. TI 5 was within the last 3 years. Hence the statement that NA region only managed to get to a TI final in the last 3 years thanks to SirActionSlacks being on their team is not correct.
