I guess the issue for me is what's Centaur gonna do with a ton of farm? I realise he's more than just a blink initiator but he's not exactly a carry.

Yeah, I was wary of it too, but I'm reserving judgement of it until trying it/watching Milk's replay of it. I guess I can see using Return to quickly take down towers. Does that translate to also quickly taking Barracks?

I'm also just 3k trash and can't farm for the life of me but it looks like Milk's build calls for you to get Vanguard -> Radiance by 20 minutes, which is hard for me even in a good game on a safe-lane carry.

I'm 2.5k (well, 2.4 right now since I haven't gotten my 100 MMR back) trash and I got boots + vanguard -> radiance in 23.5 mins in my fastest game, so it wasn't thaaaaat much slower than 20 mins.

But the team presence wasn't there, I could only return down T1 towers then I had to back out or get ganked by 4 or 5 of their team :(

Whats your opinion on the 10 second CD to resell items you buy currently in the game?

How about the couriers drop coupons so even if you sell your item by mistake you can get like 40% off midas or BOGO free elvenskins.

honestly and idk why it is like this but tbh, honestly, THE most frustrating thing

like actually the most frustrating thing for some reason idk why

is when a centaur fucking removes the aggro when we're sieging base like

it gets me HEATED

Don't you usually play with bots?

@pompidu, would be open for abuse at higher levels to avoid any 7k+ in your game

no i usually spectate because Single Hero Pickers play all pick and I only solo on SD/RD/AR

I try unique builds in bots if I'm watching old eurovisions/melodifestivalens or puzzle and dragons streams

I just reinstalled Dota 2 and Im trying to play without wanting to kill myself!

This means I need some nice friends! PM me if you're anywhere near Eastern Europe, please!

PS: My MMR is terrible!

Trump would win the election by a landslide were it on r/dota2.

"I do have something against peruvians, perhaps their people are good, but the players they send to dota are feeders, ragers, and scum. There should be a firewall and make them pay for it."

gets 35 upvotes, the guy mocking him is -3, all right.

Also, in my experience a huge number of Russians on EUW servers talk English to a degree that is more than sufficient to have a successful game of Dota. 3k games on EUW servers and communication has rarely been a problem really.

Personally I don't understand why we can choose our server in the first place. Just put people where you have the best ping. When it's a premade, chose what would give the best average ping or something along those lines.

MMR has undeniably proven to be accurate. If you can't climb you ain't good enough. Looking for excuses is pointless.

Westworld is like a bad videogame. I hope it gets better, but I don't think it can.

Can someone more in the know tell me if this is sarcasm?

MMR is not perfect as it does not accurately measure how good the person behind the account is now

IE someone could have boosted you, skills erode over time, inability to adapt to new patch or changes, emotional/tilted, hardware/network/location changes etc

But it does give you a pretty good idea how well a person did perform in general situations over hundreds of games.

With the Seasonal MMR a lot of shit players have overinflated MMR from playing a broken mode so there is that caveat.

I don't really see a problem with this, and seems like an anti-stupid UI stuff thing rather than any kind of making the gameplay easier. It's just a misclick on the UI, which isn't really a gameplay skill thing at all.

Mistake that shouldn't be punished: Accidentally selling your sheepstick instead of your wand because you thoguht they were in the opposite slots. That's just stupid and silly, it's not actually a gameplay thing.

Mistake that should be punished: You're way out on the map with no vision, and don't see the other team and get smoke ganked.

On an unrelated note, I definitely am on the market for a new keyboard. Recommendations, go!

I'm looking at these so far:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JI2APZQ/?tag=neogaf0e-20
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FB4BUMM/?tag=neogaf0e-20
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IVEGSIA/?tag=neogaf0e-20

I want a numpad,

I drag them around all the time and sometimes forget I dragged them. I usually have my Blink on Alt+E, and if I didn't put it there for whatever reason, then I might forget it's there. Shit happens.

Filco or ducky tk

If you're remotely particular about switches, don't buy something that isn't explicitely the brand you want. Lots of cherry knockoffs around, and while they aren't necessary worse they're different.

so you actually sell items without looking at them? I dont understand it, I never saw someone doing that

No, what I'm saying is misclicks happen. I know I have accidentally dragged the wrong item trying to drag the one next to it. I have never sold the wrong item myself, but I could see how it might happen to others. I never sell by dragging it onto the shop, and always sell by right clicking, looking at it and making sure it's the right item, then clicking sell. I personally HATE dropping items for this reason, especially because I feel like there is so much room for error there that can result in lost items. It makes me nervous to drop items for mana or health restoration of some kind.

What is the point of throwing so much money at a keyboard? I got this:

https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-920-002478-Keyboard-K120/dp/B003ELVLKU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1475678687&sr=8-1&keywords=k120

And my MMR is quite a bit higher than yours. Don't waste your money. Expensive keyboards, coffee, wine and headphones are a scam, isn't that common knowledge?
If you're going to be using something for many thousands of hours, why not spend more money on something you really like using

After having a mechanical keyboard for six years, using this crappy dell one I had laying around does not feel near as good. There's a difference for sure and it's absolutely worth it IMO.

I certainly agree you should buy a keyboard and a mouse you find ergonomically very good or perfect even.

edit: Actually didn't see those were mechanical keyboards. If you prefer those, certainly get one then.

LiQuid!

I proudly and openly admit to wishing death upon the mothers of people I don't like
A couple years ago I wouldn't have endorsed spending a boatload of money on a keyboard but now, having used a mechanical keyboard, I'll never go back to membrane. I'd still err on the cheaper side of mechanicals (tho getting a Razer screwed me because they make cheap garbage) and not spend like $150-200 on one that lights up like a night club.

Personally when I'm looking at a keyboard things that are important to me:

Aesthetics. I like a simple, clean, and space efficient design.

Key placement, especially the shape and key placement around the Enter key.

That Roccat one is ruled out for breaking every one of my rules. I hate fat Enter keys, glowy lights and big, superfluous protruding overall shape of it.

That Das Keyboard looks super slick, I'd personally get that one. I personally love not having a tenkey, so I'd try and find one without. Currently using a Razer Blackwidow Tournament Edition, tenkeyless and quite literally the only thing I don't like about it is the fact that the switch on my left ALT key is busted, which means I had to stop using it for my Dota hot keys (used it for item activatables and for certain control group functions, so I had to stop playing micro heroes).

When I can afford to replace it, I'm going to look into finding replacement switches so I can open it up and fuck with soldering it to try and fix it first and if that doesn't work I'll bite the bullet and probably spend too much on a (hopefully) better built model from a better company than fucking Razer.
