Just finished watching the second episode. And it might just have been the best Dr. Who episode ever. It was not as cheesy as the older series, and the plot was actually pretty interesting. Now I'm really looking forward to the third one.

While I liked the pilot more than Cockles, I must admit that things really picked up with the second episode. It looked great, there was the requisite amount of running around and trying to keep everyone from dying horribly, and the mystery, while being more than touch lightweight, was a lot of fun. The pop music gags were also cute, just so long as they don't show up too much over the course of the series. Good stuff all around, and I'm quite psyched for episode three.

Second episode was much better. SUcks abotu Eccleston, I was enjoying his rendition of the Doctor.

I saw the first episode on CBC yesterday, and it was allright I guess, not great though. It was also my first doctor who episode, I only watched it because you guys talked about it.

I'll check out the second one.
