I didn't know they teased Champa so soon in Super.

Guess they had to give some people something to cling onto after the abomination of RoF.

Wonder if the next episode is when Frieza gets brought back, or if they drag it out an episode or 2. 24 is return of Ginyu if I remember correctly.
Out of context that could seem like a spoiler, but I was talking about RoF.

oh my god i just saw the scene in the dub where whis gives goku the new gi saying it's specifically tailored for a certain fighting style he has in mind

im fucking shook

Masako's pathetic grunting in fight scenes makes me question how Dragon Ball Z became such a hit in Japan in the first place.

I've watched DBZ episodes in about 5 or 6 different languages so far and every single one of them are infinitely better than the original simply because Masako isn't in them.

Yeah, by himself.

It means nothing.

Haha Dude starts out with a set power he never did shit to achieve that never decreases based on his cyborg design. Now that power can increase dramatically "because reasons not shown"
poachers
and let me guess that power level still doesn't decrease. LIke I said before stupidest shit ive ever seen in Dragonball.

The very first image of Super had Champa and Vados in it.

It wasn't very clear they were going to start with the retellings, I held out hope for a few weeks

Vegeta training with the weights in desperation while Goku is sleeping.

Lol, come on. Give Vegeta an arc where he's stronger than Goku. He's just sad at this point.

I suppose next episode might be where we get some interactions between the cast in the meeting, fingers crossed. I look forward to 17 interacting with everyone.

Because who gives a shit about grunting? Her acting's great and to Japanese manga readers would be Goku as fuck.

Mystic Gohan is the best Gohan. What's the best figure of him? Figurarts?

Anyone else notice in the last episode that the art in some scenes resembles toriyama's current style a bit more than others? Particularly right before Goku and Gohan have their 1 on 1 fight?

I'm hoping it's because the animators have a bit of experience under their belt now in this style. I'm so glad the animation is consistently pretty good now. Watching the first year of DBS can be cringeworthy.

So not only is Goku lying about them getting money, but he's also eating up all their money because they think they'll get more money :(

I'm starting to think Goku believes there'll be money.

Everyone, considering how half the sounds a character makes in this show are grunts.

Her regular talking voice is annoying as fuck, as well.

They need to release the (GoaT) Brazilian dub for Super faster so I can forget that lady exists again.

Mr Satan knows what's at stake. He can cough up the cash without batting an eye.

There was even a clip of Beerus and Champa arguing released before the show came out that never ended up being used in an actual episode, and the manga kept teasing Champa's actions during the events of the BoG arc.

I feel like Super will go on for the foreseeable future. I think Pokemon has had a spin-off anime run along side the main one. I'd like the Yamcha manga to get an anime adaptation that runs alongside Super that sort of way

I completely agree

Agreed on both points

They did. It was called "The Saiyan Saga."
Agreed on this point, too

Yeah. Having to go over the BoG and RoF arcs really dragged down the show when it started.

Is there anyway to watch this in English legally? Cus I can't find it

Subs? Crunchyroll, Daisuki, and a few other simulcast.
Dub? I guess any site that hosts the episode after it airs. I think the Funi website has it for rewatch, but I might be wrong.

One thing I've noticed recently is Daisuki is a lot better than Crunchyroll. Ads are shorter, which is a huge pro.

Considering what happened to the Revival F outfit, which was much closer to the classic one, I guess we'll only see it for the End of Z remake episodes, and maybe the arc immediately following that.

Other universes don't have copies of the Z fighters though. Other timelines might do, but GT wouldn't fit there anyway since it's supposed to be a Z sequel, so it needs to be the timeline visited by Future Trunks.
So then what Goku did Zamasu kill?

That's not how other universes work in dbs
You have a point there.

We know for a fact that's not how the universes work. This idea about GT was thought of the idea of universes first came about and was funny but it just can't be anymore unless they go back on what was established.
...what do you mean?

...what do you mean?
Zamasu killed a Goku from a different timeline, not universe.
Universes have different people, but sister universes share similar races. In these universes are different timelines, that branch out when people time travel, creating a new timeline like Trunks did, and like Beerus did when he killed Zamasu.

So it is possible GT could be in a different timeline, but that's always been a possibility since Z.

When we first heard about the other universes there was a theory GT could be one of them. Now that we know how the different universes works it makes no sense at all with what we know.

I wonder if Frieza fought a bunch of space poachers for his patented 4 month "Become stronger than a Super Saiyan Blue or your money back" training regiment
Most definitely I'd say. One thing's for sure though, Slaythe ain't gonna be happy when he reads the new title lol.

i watched an episode of this again
cracked up laughing at this one scene.

its the bit where Goku and 17 are talking about the poachers and "don't kill them"
followed by large explosions reminiscent of a missile barrage. (yeah I know they didnt die, its just how quickly that escalated)
