Exactly, it's kind of criminal neglect on a potential universe-genocide scale.

Ok, Beerus is a lazy cat and wants to eat and sleep in his last moments, Whis DGAF, the first reason is pretty flimsy, but everyone in the know should really be all "Fuck, FUCK! Everyone in the time chamber, I'll explain in there!".


Ah well, as always scrutiny leads to questions that go nowhere in this, I'm in it for the ride.

I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens. Goku still needs to recruit Tenshinhan/Roshi and Gohan's already been training with Piccolo for 14 hours as of this week's episode.
 
It's stupid they're not telling anyone about the universe being destroyed, but it can't be helped.

17 knowing was hopefully set up so he can inform 18 and Krillin, which'll cause some anger towards Goku and Gohan

I'm really hoping this arc sets up a war between gods. The lower mortal rankings vs. the higher mortal rankings.

Anyway, for a filer episode they sure went all in on the animation of hairs being moved by the wind. Also the shading of Goku looked similar to the 'new form' shot in the opening. I liked this style a lot, actually, even if it is for a filler episode.
 
Man, watching 87 all I can wonder is how this tiny little Island maintains such incredibly biodiversity.

It was an okay episode, just kinda stuck between a great episode and one people have been looking forward to. I liked how Goku and 17 just kinda ponder their life circumstances at the end. I felt the fight against the head poacher was pretty silly. I felt like Goku could have just teleported over and grabbed the detonator.

He already got a pretty big buff. 50 times stronger at least.
 
Even if Piccolo's biggest contribution is training Gohan, at least it'll feel like a continuation of his arc in Z, which is better than where he is now. But I would think Piccolo will still get a few good fights. No matter what, he is stronger than Krillin, Tien, and Roshi.

Goku just pissed me off, how he gone try and blow up my dude King Kai and his planet again lol he just be chillin.

The problem I have is that they made his skin a sparkley silver for some reason and his jaw and chin shape are weird.

Yeah they did a full lineup. I think I read somewhere though the quality wasn't too hot? People complaining about the paint, anyway.
 
Re-watching the Vegito Blue fight. When the Blue transformation has good animation behind it and I view the transformation as being more about efficient God Ki management coupled with Super Saiyan instead of a transformation beyond the universe punches of SSG, I really like the transformation

Vegito Blue is the absolute best. I loved the fact that at least they got his cockiness right in that episode.

Because they have to be incredibly fucking stupid to believe everyone won't find out during the tournament itself.


And really when have they ever gotten nervous and fucked up? When the saiyans were coming they went hard in the paint and became stronger than Raditz, when the androids were coming they got it in gear once again and were on top of the situation. Besides Goku and Vegeta doing dumb shit they tend to be on point when the stakes are high.
