Main problem with it is it sorta destroys the group dynamic. The group until then were all comrades who could work together to some degree even if characters like Buu and #17 don't have much interaction with others. Now we get to see Frieza in the group of friends holding a Dragon Ball and uh....I guess he'll just do his own thing rather than work with others?
Beerus, Boo, Freeza, the Saiyans and the shoddy management of the Kaioshins are all at fault here.

I was HYPED for Buu this saga as well. His fight in the prelim tournament was great and fantastically animated (speaking of which the animation hasn't reached the level of the prelim tournaments fights since bar android 17 i think).

Well, there went my prediction by Tien getting knocked out by Buu.
The one saving grace with this shit decision.
I think Buu's the best character to remove from the 10. He's had no marketing besides being lined up with the 10 fighters,
even the outro has him falling asleep. There'll be fallback for this, but I think any of the other 9 would have have more.
