The problem is after that scene he went back to looking like a joke.

Beerus should have went with Goku, and threatened to kill Satan if Buu didn't wake up.

If Beerus starts threatening everyone it's only gonna make everything worse.

I do think he's getting too chummy at times but I feel like they've managed to reign it in when they need to, like in the Arale ep and the one where Goku wanted to go see Zeno.

I wonder if they're gonna ever follow up on that weird moment between him and Bulma when they were discussing the super dragon balls

Shin was basically the voice of the audience in that scene, such a dumb plan gohan; jaco was too kind when he called him sort of mediocre.

Muscle definition would be the correct term. He didn't get bigger, his muscles were just more pronounced.

Here's a much better plan.

Goku punches/lasers a huge indentation in the field, then to the side. Essentially Dig yourself a cave, almost completely removing chance of ringing out.

What the actual plan will be: Punch and laser people really hard.

I'm pretty sure you can do it without a pot, but in other situations it would have been useless without one.

Being book smart doesn't mean you know something about battle tactics. Goku is book dumb and he ran run circles around Gohan on the battlefield as seen just last episode.
