We don't know that for sure.

Just because U7 will be bringing fodder doesn't mean the other universes will. Even Botamo, the weakest member on the U6 teams, craps on most of the U7's fighters power wise in the Champa Saga.

And even if that was the case, Roshi and the others wouldn't be needed to deal with them unless they have some kind of speciality technique or ability.

He will probably have a new form anyway and they can already sell slim buus
How would Frieza have a new form? He's been trapped in a cocoon in hell and he won't have time to train.
Plus, we don't know how time passing in Whis' staff so this solution may not even be variable.

When Goku first met Mr. Popo after defeating King Piccolo, he couldn't land a hit on him. Mr Popo thought Goku was too pathetic to be worth training. I think he's just returning to his original hardass form.

It's quite fantastic how the fight choreography between Goku vs Cell hasn't aged one bit, not to mention how beautiful it is. Now I had forgotten how jarring Goku's flip flop with the whole "I quit" it's just betrays the character. Plus, it feels like Goku is sandbagging/halfassed the fight most of the time (wasting Ki energy in a Vegeta esque fashion) . Idk I would've preferred Goku dying going all out and then Gohan gets it's shine it works way better that way (not a Gohan fan) you could've had Gohan join the fight various ways instead of Goku throwing in the towel and saying " I'm out.. Gohan you're up" the face that Gohan plus the Z-squad had was like "but coach he ain't ready for game 7?"

This whole senzu bean shit gets me aggravated lol also one final thing, I was arguing with a friend of mines that Trunks is indeed stronger than cell but due to his imperfect form (muscles and ki consumption) he can't really hang. He's swears I'm crazy lol I'm like cell stated has such. But anyway that whole fight arc could've used a bit of tweaking.

Whiss could easily fix the Buu problem with his staff. The solution they will find will be for merchandise purposes though.

That's dumb.

Skin Buu is merchandise, they could have shafted Tien instead.

Say he feels too weak compared to others after being humiliated like he did.

Previous to that point I don't recall the man ever quitting. It's whatever tho, the sandbagging sure is a part of his character.

Fighting is sport for him, he achieved his aim (show gohan how cell fights). He's a fighting genius, he detaches himself emotionally from it, he realised he couldnt win so he stopped. I think thats goku to a tee.

The short rainy world bit with HIt and Frost was my favorite part of the episode. That's what I hope for more of from Super - different planets, atmospheres, and, well, Hit.

Aw, making Buu sit it out yet again with the sleeping thing, boo (buu?) to that. Not to mention that Whis could accelerate the two months like Bulmas pregnancy?

frost is a 100% dick, poison needles everywhere, lies to hit repeatedly, he's going to cheat his ass off guaranteed and get erased.

nice scene though.

I think I have a non-sexual crush on Hit. I don't care if he's just Piccolo 2.0 with a penis head. Everything about him is awesome except that he hasn't been used more.

Hit's purple explosive ki is really cool to me

Hit man-crush brothers for life.

Um, GodTube isn't just a meme, it came from Super.

GodTube was mentioned in the Trunks arc in both manga and anime. It seems to be a joke straight from Toriyama.

Neat, thanks! Totally forgot about that, for a moment I though it was a meme. Which ended on me watching a video of Gowasu wanting to become a GodTuber, haha.

And, oh man, I still love that level of interaction and comedy between Goku and Bills. It is so good how Goku just teleported without any regards of Bills' request and conflict.

You guys talk like we need explanation for ass pulls in Dragon Ball, even after all the fuckery we've seen in the last few chapters.

They can make merchandise for Slim Buu already, he is already a thing, why they shafted him? I don't know it's idiotic but I expect
Freeza to come up with something interesting to justify his return, otherwise it will be pointless and stupid

can we talk about gohan's genius strategy?

All these years of studies, and this is the plan you come up with? You should be ashamed gohan... Piccolo should be ashamed even more!

love the shit drawing too!

gohan has had a long story of great tactical decisions

like not dodging that attack by nappa

not killing cell

and getting absorbed by super buu

He's coming back because Toriyama wants him back. It's as simple as that. If this was about merch, less popular characters like Tien and even 17 would get the boot.

If you consider that Goku and his family are actually bad guys in disguise, they're probably geniuses.

You can argue Goku and maybe even Chi-Chi. Gohan and Goten..... don't see it. It's a better argument that Bulma's family are bad guys in disguise.

Piccolo made the same number of mistakes:

Dragging a five years old into a live battle and being shocked that he's scared.

Going to Namek despite all the warning and nearly getting killed, which would destroy the Earth's Dragon Balls again.

Not finishing off Imperfect Cell when he had the chance.

Leading Cell right to the androids because of his fight with 17.

Getting absorbed by Buu.

And he's supposed to be the thinker of the group.

Literally everyone in the DB universe makes a shit ton of mistakes all the time. It's a world full of people who underestimate their enemies and act extremely reckless

Vegeta is ironically one of the most sensible and responsible people in the entire series, or at least he is when you consider his character growth. He always backs out when he's sure he can't win and thinks things out in advance. The problem he had for most of his time in the spotlight was overestimating himself due to his life experience of being more powerful than most people he had met. He genuinely learns from all the mistakes he made throughout the series too.

Not even one episode later and Goku already completely forgot about learning anything new from Roshi instead of just basic sparring with Whis to seemingly no tangible gains at all....damn it show~

Though Roshi's notion to conquer himself was something of a surprise even for DBS.

I think he just wanted puar to transform into a hot girl

don't av quote me

Leading Cell right to the androids because of his fight with 17.

I don't think there was much anyone could do about Cell finding the androids because of a big fight with someone with a huge ki

I think most of the fault lies with the androids themselves, particularly 18

I do hope that Roshi develops a new non-pervert form and unlocks his real power. That would be the greatest thing ever.

Dragonball is written by a person who secretly hates everyone. Think about it. Everyone is either a monster, a criminal, a killer, a sleaze, an asshole, or an idiot.

I don't think so, he could have easily stopped Yurin but his pervertedness caused him to get turned into her puppet, I think he legitimately wants to make sure nothing bad happens to him in the tournament because of his pervertedness. He might not be doing it for the most noble reason, but I do think he's genuinely trying to get over that weakness of his. We see it isn't a one time gag either as he's still at it in the NEP.
But man, his pervertedness is painted in a whole new light in this episode, he is depicted as LITERALLY not being able to control himself, dude has a straight up condition.

No, he really isn't even with his growth. That honor would go to Bulma by a country mile. And Piccolo for all his mistakes is more sensible than Vegeta can ever be.

vegeta is indeed one of the foremost strategic thinkers in the group

but he has fucked up as much as he has done good things

for each time he has managed to stall Freeza getting all the dragon balls, he has been fooled by Gohan, for every time he forces zenkai boosts with Dende, he could not beat the Gohan/Krillin/Yajirobe team despite being way more powerful, etc etc

LOL yes. I was read that first line and I was about to say "He let Cell absorb 18....."

Piccolo was like 3 years old when he fought Goku in the 23 tournament, clearly he figured Gohan could hack like he did as long as he trained with some dinosaurs and got thown at mountains

Merged Zamasu and Vegito Blue they state, but that last screenshot...

YASS.
The last free content update has placeholder data for a new Trunks variation, so Trunks with the ability to go Ikari will probably either be part of the DLC or the Free Update.

Still no sign of Grotesque Zamasu though... We'll probably have to wait till the next game for that I guess.
