Wow, turning items into allies? I wouldn't be surprised if he has several different types of enemies he can transmute things into. Those will probably protect him in close range, and the 3 homing orbs and lighting are his quick magic spells. The former doesn't seem to cause hit stun but it's a guaranteed 3 hits. The latter stunlocked all the enemies around him while doing damage. I'm already seeing a use for the lightning and tornado spells, though. Once you have those up you can start firing the homing orbs from within it and get extra damage on targets.

A constant I saw in the trailer is that he does a serious amount of damage with his magic. Contrast the numbers you see in his physical attacks with the ones seen after he casts a spell. Hell, he did more damage to that boss at the end than any previous character.


He'll probably the hardest one to use in single player, but damn if that power isn't impressive.

If you guys truly are sick of the Dragon's Crown "controversy" thing, jumping right in with sarcastic comments about this guy not having tits only helps to keep it going.

Seeing how cable channels and certain video game creators stoke generic hate and hype to keep the eyes and money on their product/service, it stands to reason it'll continue by the fans.

All of the characters are total powerhouses in their own way; it's going to be hard to pick the first avatar.

Love people criticising the wizard's animations when the trailer literally shows three (jump attack, book casting, and the ground flame cast). Even from other trailers we've seen more (he can use his staff as a flamethrower for example). What IS there looks OK to me; he's the frail, subdued magician, not the scenery chewing showoff.

The dwarf is selecting a dagger, though he doesn't use it. Also, in doing these I just realized there's more than one spell beginning with each letter; the Slow book was purple and the Storm one was yellow, though.
