What? How would a remake, something that all the fans have already played to death, be better than a completely new game? And the problems the first game had didn't have anything to do with the engine. The boring story and annoying quests would still be there.

Games was Itsuno's dream game, but was rushed and didn't even include half the shit they had planned for it. It's one if the reasons people are so eager to see a sequel: it's a second chance of that vision being fully realized.

My greatest fear is that the recent success of Elden Ring pushed Capcom into re-releasing it again with some new bells and whistles to make a quick buck.
I'm almost at the bargaining phase where I would accept something like that, add stuff omitted during development. Like Elves, Dwarves and an expansion worth of new stuff. I'll take it!

But I'll trust the Nvidia Geforce Now datamine. Can't wait for DD2 reveal!

Huh? I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not. The only other msg I can think of is a Dragon's Dogma remaster or a remake or something for new gen consoles. I'd take it but would be disappointing if not a sequel.

Capcom 2023 is already stacked also - Street Fighter 6, Pragmata, Resident Evil 4 and Exo Primal are 2023 games that's 4 games already. I don't see where they would fit Dragons Dogma 2 unless it's just an early tease for 2024.

RE4 Remake wasn't an official announced thing back then neither was DD2.

Right now Capcom is releasing 4 titles in 2023 - Pragmata, Exo Primal, RE4 Remake and SF6. That's already a lot of titles dude, I doubt DD2 is a 2023 game, way too many games to release for 1 company. It's most likely a 2024 game.
