So the start of the year had this cool retro isometric mmorpg get some initial good buzz and people playing it. Name was DreadMyst.

I went today to search for the tile because I couldn't recall it and after some searching noticed it was pulled from steam AND had a flood of negative reviews.

I go to read them and apparently the dev intentionally sold in game gold to players on a third party website , got rich as shit, then abandoned the game! He was also noted to be using stolen assets for this title. This cock sucker isn't even going to jail and is just able to get away with this.

Wtf!? Star Citizen looks less of a scam compared to this shit.

On steam comments, he stole assets for the game (name included) from a github folder that had all the files from 5 years ago. It's public info as I even went to the folder.

Surprisingly, whomever originally made the game didnt notice or care. But I dont know if that's true.

Google AI check says the game was pulled due to copyright issues with stolen assets.
