Dreamworks 'Home": First ever 3D animated film to feature a black protagonist.

It's fair to say that the only way a girl can have those set of features shown by the character in the OP is to be a child of pretty equal white European and black African heritage.
This is absolutely not true. Have you ever seen black people in your life?
You know there are large portions of Africa, with no white mixture heritage at all, completely homogeneous, where people look very similar to the girl in OP?
 
I follow animation, quite extensively. So to say that this is the first time I've heard any news about the film (aside from the trailers) at all, doesn't really bode well. Dreamworks is already headed down the toilet, so their quality needs to be top notch, and Home bombing critically is not great news. At least we had HTTYD 2...
 
I watched this movie about a week ago. It was not my first choice for a movie, I was dragged to it by a friend.

Jesus Christ that Sheldon voice is painful.
